Solid tap list and a good selection of seltzer and smoothie beers in their fridge.
Nope. Not going again. Onion rings were under cooked and flavorless. Food. Was wildly overpriced for coming out cold and not well done. Waited forever for to come out too. We were one of only 3 patrons at the place, so I am not sure what went so wrong in the kitchen. Staff was perfectly nice at least.
We decided to go check out the speakeasy known as the Boiler Room downstairs at the tap house. We love a cool speakeasy and have missed them since moving home from Colorado. This place was so cool, great music, excellent vibe, the bartender was amazing and answered all our questions. The food was on point and came out quick. I'll definitely be back. I'm looking forward to getting some ladies together to hang out soon.
The reason I’m giving three stars is because my fiancé was told “You need to finish your beer because we’re closed” right at 9pm. Granted, last call was maybe 10-15 mins before. He had a whole pint and likes to enjoy the beer, not chug. If they expect people to leave exactly at 9pm, they should do last call 30 mins before. We went out to dinner and drinks to celebrate a promotion. To then be told to get out after they offered a last call close to closing really bothered me. If she had told us, “we close exactly at 9pm and customer must leave the premises at that time,” he wouldn’t have ordered another beer at last call, and we’d be aware. It just isn’t good customer service to do that. I left a great tip. I would’ve left less if I would’ve known we’d be treated like this after paying.
The food is great. I truly recommend going to eat there but be aware you may encounter this type of treatment.
Management should talk to their staff about letting people know in advance rather than hurrying your customers or do last call 30 mins before to avoid the staff from treating customers like this and being unprofessional.
Great little spot. Very intimate.
Great vibe and service!
We stopped for a quick lunch and had a GREAT sandwich. It was like a french dip on steroids. Generous amount of wonderful sliced beef on some kind of bread with lots of gouda cheese and then grilled so the cheese was all melty. And it was served with a small dish of really good beef broth for dipping. Also excellent kettle chips. Fabulous sandwich!!
This is the only place in Longview that is even remotely pet friendly in the rainy season, and thus the only place in town that gets my business on a regular basis. We have also had nothing but wonderful experiences with the staff. I'd kill for some french fries on the menu (one of my favorite accompaniments to beer), but the menu is overall pretty tasty.
(*Note to people with other establishments in Longview: This place DESPERATELY needs covered patios with heaters for winter. If it wasn't for ATH, we would have moved away by now!)
Excellent food and spirit options complemented by some excellent local musicians who perform Wednesdays and Fridays.

Let me start by saying the guy who was the bartender when we arrived was awesome. He was kind, helpful, and attentive. The beers are great - I got a pineapple cider that was unlike anything I've ever tasted, in the best way.
The bartender left as it was the end of his shift and was replaced by a woman who then waited on us. She barely showed up, left the bar unattended, and never checked back to see if we needed anything. I felt bad for a guy who had arrived and been sitting at the bar for ~15 min without being acknowledged. There were only 5 customers at Antidote at the time, my husband and I included.
Food was expensive (normal for the area) and not good at all. I ordered a sandwich that was supposed to have burnt ends and grilled onions, yet it arrived with raw onions and barely any meat at all. My husband got their signature roast beef sandwich (think French dip style) and I am not joking when I tell you it came with one tiny slice of meat. Arby's put this sandwich to shame.
Would return for drinks only, and likely only when that original bartender was working.
Parking: Free lot on the side of the building. Easy to find and park if the place is not crowded, but not sure about other options if that lot is full.

The best place in Longview. Yeah, it's a low bar, but we appreciate them.
