Last night I had the Blacked Halibut pesto but! Amazing. Hubby had CRAB and Brie mac n cheese. Freddie's never disappoints.

Good place for halibut. The food is very good however the atmosphere is dated. Decent spot for seafood.

We LOVE this place and stop any time we’re driving between Seattle and Portland. Halibut fish and chips is phenomenal and clam chowder is very good. The atmosphere may seem a little dated a first, but it quickly becomes charming and warm when you meet the staff. They are also excellent with gluten free/celiac (GF fish and chips in a dedicated fryer!), and we are never disappointed.

I used to eat there often. I was there 22 September 2024 for lunch with a friend. We shared some onion rings: The onion was completely limp, which was difficult to bite. There was liquid inside with the onion. The beer batter would have been ok but for the fishy aftertaste. The halibut fish and chips, which used to be wonderful, were not. The fish was dry—overcooked a tad. The coating batter was not nearly as good as the old one. Fortunately, my friend was happy with her fried oysters. They had a busy lunch rush, so the food must be good. Perhaps I would have been happier had I ordered something else. As it was, I’m so disappointed.

We've tried a lot of halibut but this is the best halibut we've ever had. You're going to love the halibut. The service started off poor but it got better. We are going to go again because the food is good. The chair and table was a little greasy, but I think because we sat real close to the kitchen. I will let you know for the next time we go if it's because the table was close to the kitchen

FIRST TIME I HAD HALABIT!! IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE THE LADY WHO HELPED US WAS AMAZING!! FOOD WAS PERFECTLY AMAZING AND ALOT OF GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Long wait to receive fish and chips order. Fish was dry and batter was dark. Onions rings were burnt. The tartar sauce was very bland basically tasted like mayonnaise. The cole slaw was the same. One and done. We won't be visiting again.

Went Sunday for our 44th year anniversary. Food was great, service was great. Claim chowder was really good, halibut with crab kinda pricey bet was fabulous. A must try.

Normally I am pleased with this place.
I stopped to bring a bowl of there clam chowder home for dinner later and I was very disappointed because it was in a small cup and charged 12 dollars.
I have had a bowl when in there and it was more than what I brought home.
They were busy and the service wasn't good either.
I use to bring my mom in here all of the time when she was alive, so it has special memories there for me so its a shame that I had to write a bad review.
Plus just becauseyour busy it's no reason to have scowls on your faces!
The whole point is to make money right!

Nice little quint, quiet place to grab a bite. The food was good and the service was as well. Definitely would recommend giving it a try if you're in town. Clam chowder was really good.
