Grant's @ the Monticello Hotel offers a mixed dining experience. The entrees, such as the NY steak and tarragon scallops, receive high praise, while the sides like the house salad and garlic mash are rated average. The cocktails, particularly the lavender drop and marionberry martini, are exceptional. Despite the excellent service, the lingering cigarette smoke is a notable downside.
