J Barrel is a gem in Longview WA. A smooth variety of ciders, IPA, Ales and porters. Delicious menu with pizza, salads, small plates to share.

Wife and I stopped in on our way through town and we were let down by the food and service after reading such good reviews. Not sure if it was an off night for the kitchen but the food was not very good. I had the pulled pork sliders and they were bland, near tasteless and the “fries” were soggy and very undercook. My wife had the steak sandwich and it was more of a pastrami with cheese and not a rib-eye like the menu had advertised. When asked how the food was, the servers only reply was “so sorry to hear that”. Only thing good was the tap selection.

Big city feel with small town accessibility. We just can't get enough of this place! Barrel house is a favorite date night spot for us. Hospitable servers, delicious food + drink, and a cozy atmosphere. P.S. Get the baked brie and the figgy piggy! You're welcome!

We had a Noah's pizza and a carnivores pizza. Flavor was excellent. Took a star off because the crust on the carnivores was pretty much black/burnt on the bottom. Server was fantastic and recommended a great
