Seriously gross, decided to give this place a try since it has some great reviews and is much cheaper than other fish and chips places. The shrimp especially was nasty, not even crispy and just gross, the fish was dry and also not good. I am really confused by all the positive reviews. Freddie's in town is way more pricey but actually good- never going here again.

Definitely save your time along with your money as this is one of the worst places I've ever bought food from and I mean that literally. I ordered doordash to deliver fish and chips they charged 65 cents extra for a tartar sauce and that red sauce for shrimp I forgot what it's called. Food arrived promptly so I have no complaints about doordash but the food was horrible the fish was dry overcooked and amazingly greasy.$23 for two small pieces of fish if that's what you want to call it, a handful of fries, and about five tablespoons of coleslaw. Wow how generous and to top it off paid for but not received red sauce. This is no joke laugh out loud

The fish was maybe a bit overcooked, and I think cod is a better choice for fish and chips, but that was not an option for the fish and shrimp combo. (Comes with halibut) The shrimp, fries and slaw were pretty good though, and the employee who assisted us was very friendly.

I wanted to give this place a chance - it's a gas station after all. Being out of town, I relied on reviews and they convinced me to give it a go. The halibut was overcooked and everything else was just mediocre (shrimp, fries, and chowder). The staff was friendly. I have heard that Kirby's is the place to go.

I love this place! I used to go fairly often when our family lived in the area. The fish was very good - good-sized portions of halibut, and the panko breading is nice and crispy. The fries and coleslaw are very fresh. I appreciate that they keep the condiments fresh in the fridge and that they have vinegar in bottles, because I use a lot for my fish. Everything else was very good too - my son was not into fish and just liked the regular items. Yes, it's in a gas station, but if you went to the South, you'd see food in gas stations all the time. The fact that this little place is located in one doesn't detract from the quality of the food at all.

The fish was fully cooked, which is always nice. The portions were nice and big. But in the end, it's a fish place in a gas station. It is what it is.However, they have homemade fudge there. OMG it is really really good. I go back when I can just for the fudge.

Very good. Only thing is raised price again on Halibut Fish and Chips. It is now $9.99, was $7.99 then $8.99. Not sure if the changed owners!

This is literally the best fish I've ever had. Tasted fresh the fries were delicious and the tarter sauce was to die for. I couldn't believe this was in a gas station... seriously try it guys.
