I called in a order to go. They said since I have not purchased a pizza yet with them they won't make the pizza until I pay first. Sorry but they lost me as a customer.
Rude people and not good food. They charge for pizza boxes too.
Papa Pete's, in my opinion, is still the best pizza in Cowlitz county. I dinged a star because the establishment has always known to be cheap penny pinchers. They charge a crazy $3 credit card fee, and won't make your pizza until you get there. Just weird behavior for a small local place. I don't let that keep me away though, they have the best crispy crust around and the small delicious crispy pepperoni's.

Found this place while working in Centralia ( which this location isn't there anymore ) years ago and this Papa Pete's chain has been my favorite go to pizza place ever since. If you were ever a favor of the old school Shakey's or Pietro's pizza places you'd love this... It like those two places but BETTER..!

They used to use jarred pineapple, so it was fairly fresh, but now they clearly use canned pineapple, and you can tell by their dehydration and orange color. The crust was on point as usual, but come on, don't mess with my pineapple.

I purchased a medium size combination pizza in Longview and I’m sad to say this was the worse pizza I’ve ever had. The pizza was dry and overcooked. I will not be returning. So disappointed.
I frequently visit the Ridgefield location.
Let me start by saying I whole heartedly understand process and guidelines.
But when you’re daughter have a recital and all they asked for is to have a Pizza. You call hours in advance to try and have it made.
Call 1pm
Ready time 4pm
They say they can’t take payment over the phone, and can’t do it for you since you haven’t been to this specific location.
Now my wife and daughter are in getting ready.
Thinking they are going to get Pizza.
Could’ve been handled much better.

This place used to be absolutely amazing, to the point we ordered weekly and would come and play the arcade games while we wait. It was super convenient because I’m allergic to dairy and their gluten free crust used to be dairy free. Today after ordering after we made the drive down we get a call saying they changed their crust and their gluten free crust now has cheese in it. What a silly thing to change. Unfortunately we will no longer be customers. Hopefully they post an update so future customers don’t have unexpected issues.
They are kind of expensive but I love pizza.
What's the point of ordering a pickup order if I have to wait in the parking lot and show up before you cook it .. is the owner on drugs?
A little upset when there isn’t consistency. I bought a the same pizza in the middle of the week and they put a crap ton of pepperoni on my pizza. I got barely any pepperoni this time lol. Sucks to look forward to something and then be disappointed not to mention I already spent $23 for this small pizza. We want consistency Papa Pete’s!
The pizza here is really good. Fresh ingredients with a nice crisp to their crust. I really enjoy the flavors. They have done a really good job trying to make the place family friendly. Looks like a mom and pop pizza place, so I assume it's not backed by big budgets. The staff are very friendly and their service is super fast!! They do have a policy where if you order from them for the first time with your phone number, they'll have you come in and pay for your pizza. But, with the drive thru, this wasn't too inconvenient. They had my pizza made and out the drive thru in about 10 minutes. Breadsticks were VERY soft (like, almost too soft for my taste) but the marinara was plentiful for a 4 stick order.
