They used to use jarred pineapple, so it was fairly fresh, but now they clearly use canned pineapple, and you can tell by their dehydration and orange color. The crust was on point as usual, but come on, don't mess with my pineapple.
I frequently visit the Ridgefield location.
Let me start by saying I whole heartedly understand process and guidelines.
But when you’re daughter have a recital and all they asked for is to have a Pizza. You call hours in advance to try and have it made.
Call 1pm
Ready time 4pm
They say they can’t take payment over the phone, and can’t do it for you since you haven’t been to this specific location.
Now my wife and daughter are in getting ready.
Thinking they are going to get Pizza.
Could’ve been handled much better.
They are kind of expensive but I love pizza.
What's the point of ordering a pickup order if I have to wait in the parking lot and show up before you cook it .. is the owner on drugs?
A little upset when there isn’t consistency. I bought a the same pizza in the middle of the week and they put a crap ton of pepperoni on my pizza. I got barely any pepperoni this time lol. Sucks to look forward to something and then be disappointed not to mention I already spent $23 for this small pizza. We want consistency Papa Pete’s!
The pizza here is really good. Fresh ingredients with a nice crisp to their crust. I really enjoy the flavors. They have done a really good job trying to make the place family friendly. Looks like a mom and pop pizza place, so I assume it's not backed by big budgets. The staff are very friendly and their service is super fast!! They do have a policy where if you order from them for the first time with your phone number, they'll have you come in and pay for your pizza. But, with the drive thru, this wasn't too inconvenient. They had my pizza made and out the drive thru in about 10 minutes. Breadsticks were VERY soft (like, almost too soft for my taste) but the marinara was plentiful for a 4 stick order.
Not too busy but friendly staff and pizz is amazing one of the best I have had.
My usual go to is papa Murphy’s but this is the best pizza I’ve had in a while. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.
After driving to restaurant and driving home (30 minutes each way) they forgot toppings. I called and spoke with the manager who only offered to put a note in for a replacement topping (garnish) on next visit. After explaining how disappointed I was with the amount of money we spend at the establishment, the manager stated she could only do what she had offered. We will not be returning and will take out business to the competitors. We will also be sharing this experience with everyone.
I'd give them no stars if I could over priced got 1 large pizza and it cost 45dollars. We also got bad pineapple on our pizza and all got sick from eating it. To many kids working neeed an adult in there working.

Always great
My wife requests this for every special occasion and is never disappointed! Even when we lived out of town we would have to go every time we came to visit family. It is consistently delicious! Long live Papa Pete’s!
