I've been to Boston twice now. Both times, the food was FANTASTIC! Be patient if you go during peak or busy times, as there's usually just the owner whipping up these great burgers and fries. Very much worth stepping away from the norms and make the drive up to Columbia Heights. 😎⚓️

Cute place nestled up on the hill. Service was amazing, owner even told us about where she gets her locally sourced products and that everything is prepped fresh and made once ordered. Took a couple extra minutes but the quality of the food and the fresh taste was completely worth it. Total time order, wait, eat was about 30 mins. Highly recommend. I had the Mushroom Swiss(fresh not canned mushrooms) and the hubby had the PB&J Burger. Fries were crispy and hot!

Stopped by yesterday with a work friend, and we got a chicken sandwich with fries and a burger with onion rings. The staff was so friendly, service was very quick, and when we asked for a knife to cut the sandwiches (we were splitting everything so we could try a little of everything), they offered to do it for us. The food was amazing! If you haven't tried this place yet, you are definitely missing out. I will be back for sure. My favorite of the dishes was the chicken sandwich and the onion rings. The onion rings reminded me of the Red Robbins onion tower style ring, and we're sooo yummy!
On a road trip from Portland to Seattle, we stopped at Retro B’s for a quick burger just before closing. Despite arriving around 6:50 PM and the staff already beginning to clean up, they welcomed us and took our order with no hesitation. We really appreciated their kindness and the burgers and fries hit the spot!

I love this place!!! Best food, best people, best service, best atmosphere in town. I had the mushroom burger. Its wayyyyyy better than Nipps. Met the people that work there and ate with them. They are so kind nd friendly. They are my kind of people. I even got the opporitunity to enjoy my food with them, and their sweet Daughter, and get to know them. Made some good friends today and ate some delicious food!! Best spot in town!
