On a Saturday, we drove an hour and paid to take the ferry only to find out it’s closed. Nothing on their website or any note at the restaurant and Google listing shows it is open. Was super excited to check it out, but just ended up wasting an entire half day.

We sat on the porch and enjoyed one of the most incredible views of Mt Baker along with some amazing food. I had the Chicken and Spinach salad and loved it. The best part was the chicken and how nicely crispy it was. The bacon was also incredible. The German beer options were also a nice surprise. If you’re going to visit Lummi Island, make sure to include a stop at the BSC!

Had dinner for 2 on the deck last night. Gorgeous views of Mt Baker and the water. The staff is friendly and overall ambience a chill vibe. Very welcoming! Take your time and relax to enjoy the views, drinks and food. Seafood chowder stood out and was the best dish overall. Baked bread and butter was to die for! The garden salad was fresh and delightful. Salmon was a bit overcooked, unfortunately. The pizza was slightly burnt and my burger was overdone as well. Still glad we checked it out and would return to try other items. The fish and chips looked good as they went by to another table and various other salads on the menu looked good too! Raspberry crumble was perfection!!!! As the only restaurant on the island, I appreciate that they are open to serve the community!

We had the Mediterranean Sea Bream special and the burger. They were our favorite meal on the island. I never had sea bream so tasty. My only recommendation is smaller pieces of kale in the salad. The burger was an excellent smash burger with a mountain of fries.
It was kind of busy the Saturday evening we went. To be honest, it didn’t bother us in the slightest because the view from the deck was lovely and we were happy to sit there a little longer.
As far as service/atmosphere, there was a specific instance that made my time here a little less enjoyable. They seated a couple with a baby carrier on the deck. They placed the baby carrier in a chair in the walkway. I couldn’t get to the bathroom because the walkway was blocked. I was asking the parents if I could get to the bathroom, but there were so many people ooh-ing and ah-ing over seeing a baby that they didn’t move the carrier. I felt like I was being rude to ask but at the same time, I don’t think the walkway should be blocked like that, especially if the party was not amenable to adjusting to allow for people to walk. I can understand if it’s a party of 3 and the person seated in the walkway could move if someone was walking through. Please consider sitting a similar party (with a baby in a carrier on a chair) in a 4-person table.
Such a cute place with a gorgeous view of the mountain and water. Really close to the ferry. The crab Benedict was the best we’ve ever had! Definitely recommend if you’re on Lummi Island!

This place and the people and the cats that goes in to all they do is top notch!We love it so much that we rented the whole place for our wedding and the owners worked with us to make a hyper local dinner that our guests still talk about. It may have ruined me for other people's salmon for the rest of my life. So so good!
