I was here about a year ago, and I"m sorry to say my opinion of the food here hasn't changed. Once again, the servers were lovely. It's just that the food isn't very good. It's the ONLY restaurant on the island, so I guess they can get away with that. We started with the mushroom cheese tart. If it hadn't been smothered in arugula and balsamic, it would have had no flavor at all. The muscles were just ok. They were steamed in a tomato - garlic broth,...
The only place to dine on the island. It's an excellent place. Got the Fun Guy pizza. It came with a good pour of red wine. Very very nice. The wait staff are super friendly. They are open 5 days in a week.
We sat on the porch and enjoyed one of the most incredible views of Mt Baker along with some amazing food. I had the Chicken and Spinach salad and loved it. The best part was the chicken and how nicely crispy it was. The bacon was also incredible. The German beer options were also a nice surprise. If you’re going to visit Lummi Island, make sure to include a stop at the BSC!
