My kids favorite doughnuts

I can honestly say, these are potentially the best donuts I've had since moving here 12 years ago. They are just slightly larger than average size and soft with a touch of airy-ness to the dough. BUT....they are kind of expensive. It was 6.00 for 2 frosted doughnuts (I choc frosted, 1 white chocolate with sprinkes).
Good place for an occasional treat.

Update in response to Crown donuts . Thank you for your response. I placed the order through Too Good To Go and am familiar with how it works.

The surprise bags are made up of surplus from the previous day, not unsold items from the current day. I’ve ordered more than once, and each time there were boxes already set aside and donuts still in the case. That’s why I was surprised to arrive during the scheduled pickup window and find the store closed.

I understand that the app doesn’t guarantee selection, and I don’t expect that. The issue was showing up within the posted pickup time and finding the store closed, with no cancellation or communication through the app.

I hope this feedback helps improve communication and consistency for future customers.

Original review: Very disappointed with Crown donuts today. I placed an order in the morning for pickup before closing. The pickup window is 2:30-3:00 pm. Upon arrival at 2:40 the store is closed.

Donuts were amazing! I went back to get more for the family and they loved them!!!!

Lovely local donut shop.
Their service and donut are fantastic. I used to say I only liked Krispy Kreme donuts but they have changed my mind. Love the cake donuts as well! They also have coffee, tea, and take and bake cinnamon rolls!

From the outside this looks like a little donut shop. Inside the selection is outstanding. The donut sizes are larger than most. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Beware of this place they give you stuff you didn't order and when you take it back for them to correct their mistake they won't do anything about it but sell you more doughnuts. The doughnuts here arnt very good, legendary doughnuts in covington is much better. Sadly I would have to say qfc is better.

This is a hidden Gem!

I’m from NY and I know a good donut when I taste it.

These donuts are WAY BETTER than legendary donuts. I The lady who helped us had purple hair and was extremely nice like you were a friend.

My partner and I will now be getting our sweets for potlucks, family events and superbowl games!

I drove 20 minutes away and it was worth every mile.
