Such a fabulous time had at this restaurant, it is amazing!
The food, the staff, the atmosphere, and just the overall happiness of everyone in the restaurant makes you feel good. Absolutely wonderful food, even got takeout to go and will definitely return.

Our family loves El Caporal! Service is always fantastic and the food is great too. Our kids really like it and can always find something for everyone on the menu. Enchiladas are a favorite and the Pollo Chipotle. Drinks are generous and tasty as well. The prices also make it an affordable place to take the family out for dinner too!

Do not show up an hour before closing. The cooks were done and ready to go home. Worst mexican food in Auburn. There were rats running around the parking lot.

Freddy was absolutely wonderful in helping me navigate my celiac allergy! He explained that their chips are cooked in a separate fryer, so there’s no risk of cross-contamination, and he was very knowledgeable about the seasonings used on the meats. He guided me to options that were completely gluten-free, which gave me such peace of mind. It was so refreshing to enjoy a truly authentic Mexican meal without any worry and leave with a full, happy belly! I’ll definitely be returning!
