Stunning little wine & charcuterie bar in Maple Valley. I enjoyed a wine flight and my partner enjoyed a cider. Highly recommend the Barnard Griffin Merlot.

Such a cozy and lovely spot! The cheese board was absolutely delicious—every bite was perfect And Sarah was so kind and thoughtful! She recommended we get a bottle instead of glasses, which ended up being a better value and made everything feel more special. We felt so taken care of. Can’t wait to come back! 🍷✨

What a fun and refreshing concept! I stopped into House & Hazel on a whim, initially just planning to browse their household goods—and I’m so glad I did. The store had a beautiful selection of home décor that struck a perfect balance between trendy and timeless. Each corner felt thoughtfully styled, and I found myself inspired by the displays alone.

What really caught me off guard, though, was their surprisingly chic and unique collection of clothing. From cozy knits to statement pieces, it felt like discovering a hidden boutique inside a lifestyle shop. It’s clear someone with a great eye is behind the selections.

Speaking of which, the owner, Haley, couldn’t have been more welcoming. She was genuinely personable and took the time to chat with me while I checked out. It was during that conversation that I learned House & Hazel is also a wine bar—with live music later in the week! That extra layer of community and experience makes this spot feel like so much more than just a retail store.

Whether you're looking for a thoughtful gift, a wardrobe update, or a cozy evening out with wine and music, this place is a total gem. I’ll absolutely be back—and next time, I’m bringing friends.

What a treasure this place is!

A dazzling potpourri of home furnishings flanked by an elegant, futuristic bar with wide comfortable seating— A baby grand 1940s-style emerges from a live music-staged corner. Charming proprietors —a humorous married couple (with dazzling good looks, to boot) make you feel at “home away from home”!! GO! Live music on select Saturdays….

This place is amazing and just what Maple Valley needed. It’s so very nice to be able to grab a gift from a special place that I know everyone will love something from💌 It’s a little gem.

I can't say enough good things about House and Hazel! I've had three consecutive fantastic experiences there, and I just had to share my thoughts.

On my first visit, a Friday around 7pm, I was welcomed by Sarah, the bartender. She's a blonde with glasses, and her warm demeanor made everyone feel like family. Honestly, I thought she might be the owner with how passionately she talked about the bar and store. Her knowledge and enthusiasm are infectious. Is she in marketing?
When I returned the following Friday, I was thrilled to see Sarah again. The bar was much busier this time, but she handled the crowd with such grace. As a doctor, I understand how overwhelming it can be when everyone needs your attention, but she managed it like a pro. I love the option of sitting right up close to the bar or getting space, what a neat concept.

My third visit was with a date, and just like the previous visits, it did not disappoint. The service remained top-notch, the wine was exquisite, and the ambiance is stunning—truly unlike anything else around. I couldn’t believe that Sarah recalled my name and various details about our previous conversations. I felt like I was in Cheers.
Now, whenever friends ask about going out, I'm always singing the praises of House and Hazel! If you're looking for a great night out, this place is a must-visit!

I cannot recommend House & Hazel enough! It's the perfect store to shop for yourself or if you need to pick up a gift for someone else (side note: I always find something for myself at H&H even when I am shopping for someone else).

The Kitchen Bar has the best vibe no matter what day of the week you go (think Cheers!)! I highly suggest checking their calendar regularly as they often have super fun events held at the store.

So happy that we finally have something like H&H in Maple Valley!
