Lydia's Cakes and Confections

Ooof...ordered a Vegan chocolate cake with chocolate icing, the cake was pretty good but the icing (received both chocolate and white icing on it) tasted rancid. The chocolate icing smelled like it had gone bad and tasted peppery/sour/floral. The white icing was similarly rancid tasting but to a lesser degree. It was my first experience ordering from this bakery so hoping it was just a fluke experience.

I didn't expect the cupcakes to taste soooo good! I am going to use Lydia for our wedding cake. Her strawberry is amazing!

Best “Cake in a Jar” options ever!! Her buttercream frosting is to die for, highly recommend!

Lydia’s chocolate chip cookies are the chocolate chip cookie to end all chocolate chip cookies. Absolute perfection—soft, gooey, and packed with chocolatey goodness. And the best part? It was only 10:30 in the morning, and it still felt like the right choice. If you haven’t tried one yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Though Lydia is known for her amazing artistry with her cakes, Lydia's Cakes and Confections is also our favorite place to go for the most delicious cup cakes and pies! A couple of our go to flavors have been the super yummy raspberry or lemon cupcakes!! This last Thanks Giving my family also thoroughly enjoyed both pumpkin and berry pies which were total crowd pleasers!
Lydia's bakery it's such a treat for the senses and I am always excited to see what's available. I am totally blown away by her stunning talent as a artisan cake decorator. Not to mention, the first day I popped in to her shop, I realized what a character Lydia is too! I have been in there when other families and long time customers have come in and Lydia creates such a welcoming and fun environment. You can't help drool over her sweets with the other customers! If you like beautiful and tasty desserts, Lydia's baked goods are a MUST try!!

Everything Lydia has made for us is unbelievable. All birthdays and special occasions we only go to Lydia. She also does events! I like that I can just order online. She’s also just a kind human and a person/local business I take pride in supporting. Seriously, go here for your treat needs you won’t regret it.

I received a friendly greeting when entering the store. Cupcake display made it easy to pick out the items I wanted. They were delicious and moist. Large cookies were available but I didn't purchase any this time. Will definitely return for more goodies.

Lydia was very easy to work with! She made the atmosphere so welcoming and inviting for our cake tastings. We enjoyed working with Lydia and her cakes were all so wonderful! The cake we chose was called Bogs, it is fantastic! Our guests loved it so much, we actually didn't have any left over afterwards! Highly recommend working with Lydia, you will not regret it!

Lydia was great! She made our cutting cake for our wedding and she was attentive to our colors and flowers, made a beautiful cake and desserts for our dessert table, and was super easy to work with. I was a bit nervous not knowing exactly what our cutting cake would look like, but it turned out better than I could have imagined - Lydia certainly knows her cakes! 10/10!

I can't begin to express how impressed I am at how my wedding cake and desserts turned out. I first ran into Lydia at the Wedding convention in Seattle in Jan '23 and '24. I finally bit the bullet and decided to hire her because her treats were incredibly delicious. Once the cake was delivered to my hotel the day of the wedding, I was completely shocked at how it turned out. It was much bigger than I expected and Lydia was able to duplicate an exact picture that I sent her through email. If you even get the chance to try her stuff, I highly recommend. Her cake is tasty and moist, it almost melts in your mouth. She is also very affordable! YOU get bang for your buck!! Will definitely be ordering again for future parties!

Our friends got their wedding cake here and it was so good! We decided to check it out on a an off day and got a pack of yummy cupcakes! The only thing that sucks is that they aren't open on weekends, so we can't bring cupcakes to family events!
