This Panera Bread location is a cozy and inviting spot to enjoy coffee and a sandwich. As a regular customer, I’ve spent a lot of time here and have noticed a positive difference since the new management and team came on board. The staff are now much more attentive and friendly, which really enhances the overall experience. If the management continues to prioritize excellent service and customer care, this location will easily become one of my favorites.

Really enjoyed the seasonal chicken salad. The vinegratte dressing was very tasty and the beet strips added the perfect crunch.

I have never been a super-fan of Panera, but I also haven't been here more than a handful of times.
This is just my take, but I can't really say Panera is worth my time. There are usually craft sandwiche shops near by and they are usually better for about the same price.

Our orders are never correct at this location. Today we decided to keep it simple and just order bagels, even though they only had a few options available. The cinnamon crunch bagel we received was completely flat, like a slice of bread. They had to cut it by hand because it wouldn’t fit in their slicing machine. The cream cheese also had a grainy texture and an off flavor. We ended up throwing everything away after spreading it on the bagels.
At this point, we don’t even bother complaining anymore because nothing ever changes. In the past, they’ve said they’d send a gift card as an apology, but it never arrived. We used to love Panera, but this location has become consistently disappointing. Every six months or so, we give them another chance, and every time, there’s another issue. Really unfortunate.

This is a review for the rip off that all Panera Breads have become. I had forgotten to bring a water bottle for the gym and needing hydration, I went to Panera next door to grab one. They were out of water so I selected a relatively small bottle of flavored green tea. No prices were displayed but I figured it couldn’t be more than $5 considering the small size. Wrong! They rang it up and it cost $10 DOLLARS. And then they had the nerve to flash a tip request screen. Massive rip off. Panera’s food has been on a steady decline in quality and equally steady increase in price so I hadn’t been to one in a while before this. I should have just walked out. But, lesson learned. I will not be darkening the door of any Panera in the future.

I had to bag my rapid pick-up order. Is that a thing now?
Awful waited over 25 minutes in the drive through line. Learn to do what other drive thrus do and ask people to wait in a stall

Waited for 5 minutes at counter and never saw an employee. They had a station for ordering without talking to anyone. That doesn't work for me. Found a food truck nearby where i actually could talk to someone and was able to express gratitude to the person that actually prepared my food. And the service was fast, personable and the food was great.
I wanted to email direct to this store, but could not find a way. I have sip club and get an unsweetened black ice tea. This location consistently has the worst tasting tea. I have told a person working, but it isn’t getting relayed. They may be using a coffee container to make the tea, it may be sitting too long, or it may be the water they use to make it. Please have someone that knows what it should taste like- check it, or try the tea at the Kent store. This is a consistent problem. It does not taste right.
My wife and I regularly eat at the Panera Bread in Maple Valley. It has good food, but for the most part you get your food bus your own table etc. Yesterday 06/11/25, my wife and I went for lunch, and our entire experience was upgraded. The server who took our order was super friendly and professional, the food was more generously portioned, there staff even came over to make sure we didn’t need anything and bussed our tables. It’s so cool to see a restaurant like this prioritize the customer experience. If you like Panera, I’d recommend driving a little bit farther to go to
this one!

I have lived in Maple Valley for 5 years. The Panera Bread here has been hit and miss, but today I was pleasantly surprised. Anastacyia did an excellent job taking my order. The cooks and dining staff were prompt and seemed to really enjoy working together. Definitely changed my opinion of the store.
