A surprising find. From all outside appearances this is a typical small dive bar. Once inside it is larger than it seems. It was clean and didn't have the typical dive bar grime or smell. There were plenty of available seats and the server was prompt. As for the food - my bacon cheese burger could barely be held with two hands. It was cooked to perfection and the cheese and bacon were generous portions. The French fries were good, not great. Overall an excellent meal...
They aren't called a dive bar for no reason. Fried fish was greasy and unimpressive. Service was acceptable, but the place is not clean. Not what I would want for a nice meal with the wife. In spite of the fact that I'm within walking distance, I won't be returning.
