Rainier Valley Coffee

Absolutely LOVE this stand (and the baristas) they are always SO friendly and attentive. I appreciate the fun monthly drinks too. Wish there was one closer to my house but it's worth the drive!!!

I have been a customer and broughten my family to do business with rvc, been a loyal customer for over 10 years. Molly who works there today around 1pm refused me service because she can’t make a London fog. Giving me prejudice because I have kindly mentioned to Jess and the other girls that she makes it incorrectly. I have never had that experience in my life and for her to be unwilling to try to make the drink or even offer something else was shocking to me. I’ve never been refused any business anywhere in my life. I’m disappointed in how I was treated and mind you I been nothing but kind and respectful. Very disappointed in Molly and how I was rudely treated today.

We ordered The Rainier coffee(hot) and 100% I could say that it’s just milk and out of the two promised syrups there is neither coconut nor vanilla nor espresso shot in it. I echo with other reviewers who told coffee is just milk. I had been to other Rainier valley coffee and it’s not awful like this. I had been to at least 150+ coffee shops in PNW and could say it’s just milk only. I feel betrayed when there was no syrup at all. Why are the baristas doing it to many people?(as per the recent reviews) intentional ? Carelessness? If you’re the manager/owner of the Rainier valley coffee - please train your baristas to do a better job. I never leave a one star review unless it’s so terribly bad. I still wonder how it got 4.9 reviews

Came here due to the high google rating, the place is a two at best. Waited five-ten due to the one car in front. That's fine, maybe it's a large order, and just one employee. Nope- one drink, pulled up and there were three girls in there. I ordered a cold brew with cream, friend got a latte. They filled a third of the cup with 1/2 and 1/2. It looks and tastes like milk. Dumping both and getting better coffee elsewhere.

Pleasantly surprised by this place, I stopped for a quick coffee on my way to Spokane. I was skeptical based on the location, but it was such a gem. Plus the antique store Nextdoor was a fun stop.

I told the baristas It was my first time at their stand. I asked them a question about a particular drink. They weren't very helpful. They weren't very friendly just gossiping amongst themselves. Coffee tastes horrible. Also 7.50$ for a 20 oz?. Zero star experience for a first time customer.

I thought I ordered the rattlesnake but my receipt says tiki - either way, this drink was delicious! It was like an energy refresher, perfect for a hot day.

Delicious coffee. They also have some sandwiches and muffins.My favorite is the Dirty Chai. I think it is like coffee and chai latte together. I got the spicy one. Definitely come back again.
