Went and tried this place the other day for my co worker's bday dinner. We made a reservation and went there after work. We all work at the warehouse so our outfits are not great since we just got off from work. Went inside and the hostess seated us after we said that we had reservations. After we seated the manager approached us and told us that they don't allow self seating. We told the manager that we had reservations and got seated with the hostess. She then said that she was sorry that she thought we just walked in and seated out selves. And then told us we don't dress up nicely that's why she assumed we just walked in. I would never come to this place again because of how we got treated. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Our first time having dinner at Sonora Steak and was pleasantly subtle the vibe, quality, and service. We had Jonathan for our server who brought attention + detail every time he checked on us. The food was delicious and the margaritas were fresh + tasty!
Was not expecting such a great quality steak here, cooked properly with a great sear too. Waiter was super attentive, place was clean, and the food! So so good. Will definitely return.

Great service and food. I recommend steak with an appetizer or sides. Great cuts up to Waygu A5. Priced reasonably for a quality steak house. Dine in this isn't for takeout, but a treat for occasion.
Parking: In the corner mart, dinner only so plenty of parking with daytime businesses nearby closed by then.

the food here is amazing. the steak is wonderfully presented and comes on a hot stone so you can cook longer if it isn’t cooked to your standard. the only reason i am not giving it 5 stars was because we told the waitress that it was my birthday and she didn’t care and didn’t even say happy birthday. this wouldn’t stop me from coming back but something i was a little bummed out on.

We really enjoyed the Sonoran steak house, our server René was great. The food comes on a large wood carving board with a cast iron skillet. We also had the roasted cauliflower with our meal. I'll definitely be back, my steak was perfect!

This is my favorite restaurant that I've ever been to. The food: insane, the service: excellent, atmosphere: ideal. I have been 4 times now and every time I've gotten the Chuleta de Ribeye and split a papa loca with my wife. Best meal I've ever had every time. This is our go to "special occasion" restaurant and the only reservation I have about posting a 5 star review is the worry that they'll get too busy and it won't be as easy to get a table. Cannot recommend this place enough, perfect food and excellent service.
Vegetarian options: Not a place for vegetarians.
Parking: Parking is pretty easy, sometimes the shopping center can get a little busy but doesn't take long to get a spot.

We frequent Asadero and we’re super excited when we found out about Sonora steak. Unfortunately it wasn’t up to par to the standards we would have expected. The steaks we got were cooked incorrectly - my Vacío (which I always get) was too rare, and my husbands filet flight ($$$) was overcooked. An overcooked waygu is such a waste. Our papa josper, which we always get, was burnt all on the bottom of the potato. I hope the quality improves with time, but as of now I’m not inclined to return.
