Tried few of their meat sandwiches and they were very rich in flavor with almost poured-in amount of meats. I loved them and am planning to try their sandwich menu one by one over time. Also loved sweet potato tots, highly recommended for any tot lovers cause of its subtley sweet uniqueness compared to regular tots.
One random non-positive note though is that it is almost impossible to have their sandwiches in clean way cause of abundent and various ingredients stacked into their sandwiches. They just can’t physically hang in there together, not for long.
Tried the vegarino sandwich there’s not much of vegetarian options here but I like the one that I tried.
Excellent sandwiches especially the thanksgetting sandwich! consistent and fast!
very bad parking situation though... do not park in the large parking lot across the street as it's actively monitored for walk offs... I got an $85 ticket last time.

My favorite sandwich in town is the Shrimp Po' Mofo, sans chorizo, add avocado. So messy, gooey, and yummy!

The sandwiches were ok. Last few times were better almost as good as Seattle location. However, this time the el duderino was a bit too plain and too much fat from cooking oil so it couldn’t hold itself in one piece.
Visited few times for the past several months and always met unmotivated and grumpy staff, not a big deal but at least smile to your customers and clean the tables more often, so asking for tip after every transaction is a bit more justified. I do recommend this place but with a slight caution that it can be hit or miss, IMHO.
I might visit this location once more in a few months, so far this is my opinion after being there few times in 2025.

Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a chicken sandwich and grilled cheese. Both were very generous portions and perfectly toasted. Great prices and service as well.

Food was excellent! I ordered the carne asada sandwich along with the macaroni salad.
However, the ordering process was a bit awkward. I was in line behind a group of people and when the group was finished, someone cut in front of me by accident because I don’t think they saw me. The worker tried to tell me that they were there first and that they could order. I reminded him that I was there first and that I should be able to order first. I felt like he was arguing with me. I would not have mentioned anything about it if it were not true. After the employee gave me my to-go order, he was unfriendly and crumpled my bag while giving it to me. I hope this is a one-time issue because every time I go here the food is fantastic.

There are many sandwich places in the region, the vast majority are quite mediocre. Valhalla is not among them.
There are hearty sandwiches, and eating a whole one will leave you feeling very full, if not uncomfortable.
The bread is great. Ingredients are great. Sandwiches are assembled well. Hot or cold options available.
The only negative is the structural integrity of the bread breaks down with the wet ingredients. My Italian sandwich included oil & vinegar which soaked the bread and caused it to break apart while holding. The solution was to eat it open faced.
I'm definitely returning to try other menu items. What I had was good and I expect the others to be great too.

When I went to the restaurant today to pick up my order, even though I showed proof on my phone that the order belonged to me and that it had already been paid for, the cashier refused to give me my order. Despite clearly showing all the necessary information, I was treated like a thief. I strongly advise against ordering from a restaurant that hires people who mistreat and humiliate their customers.
I do not recommend this establishment under any circumstances.
I completely disagree. I showed the order to the cashier. Even though they saw that I had confirmed it, the cashier still insisted on not giving me the order. This is unacceptable behavior. I am a person of dignity — I am not in need of your food. If there were any suspicion of theft, all of my information is already in your system, from my name to my phone number and email address. If this is the attitude your restaurant represents, then I condemn it as well. I still believe you don’t even deserve a single star.”
