My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Yuzen. It was the best sushi and sashimi we ever had and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Not sure how this place could have anything other than a 5-star rating! Very friendly service and amazing food!! Vegetable tempura, Saba mackerel, beef-wrapped asparagus nigirii with mixed-greens sesame salad, and a delicious walnut-based dessert made for a great night out. :)

The restaurant was very clean and had a very nice ambiance especially during the night. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. If you want high quality sushi near Seattle/Bellevue, you need to check out this restaurant.

My husband and I have gone here for the last couple of years. We love the Kari Kari and Samurai rolls. The beef and asparagus is an amazing option for those who are sushi (raw fish) averse. I won't lie it is pricey, but we think the quality and food are worth it. We have never left with a bad experience or hungry. We will continue to come back.

I use to go to this place a lot but lately the service has gone down hill.Today my wife ordered a DoorDash order for pick up, and added a couple of items to her order. When I showed up, they refused to give me the extra items and insisted that they didn’t even have “crispy onions/shallots”.Either that’s a blatant lie or a huge indication of their decline in quality.Also they left out the sauce that was suppose to come with the shrimp tempura.Never order take out from here! You’ve been warned.Than they try to insult me like I can’t afford extra for avocado? Like everybody didn’t see me roll up in my Mercedes and that I live on Mercer island. I would have happily paid extra but the staff was very rude and unhelpful.Edit:Would have gladly paid extra for Avacados of the rude counter lady hadn’t just tried to usher me out of the restaurant and if the shrimp did have the sauce on it, it was very dry and scant much less than sit down.You say I’m lying? I think your rude staff is covering for itself. As a business owner you should own up to the fact that you don’t have any methods for those ordering out to add sides like avocado. I bought one for my wife across the street, a whole avocado is less than 5$….

Another Japanese restaurant in Mercer Island. I ordered Chirashi sushi and my friend ordered Bento box. It was nice that my dish came with miso soup and a small salad. Quality of the fish was pretty good. I liked the fried shrimp head. Good amount of sashimi. Rice was a bit clumpy. We went in early ( before 5pm ish). The service was good. Attentive server and food came out pretty quickly.I recommend this place over the other Japanese restaurant on this island.Family friendly. Parking available.

the kari kari sushi is out of this world. i have never had cheese in sushi but it blew my mind
