Western Star Bar & Grill is a lovely spot in Metaline, offering delicious food, great beer on tap, and wonderful small town hospitality. The owner, Carol, is kind and helpful, even setting up a bowl of water for dogs on the deck. The fish tacos, Philly, fries, shrimp tacos, and fish and chips are all delicious and made fresh. Carol's vivacious personality adds to the welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to stop for a drink and a meal, especially after a day on the river or a motorcycle ride. With a shuffleboard table and pool table inside, it's a highly recommended spot for all.
