Visited this bar with a friend for a drink, and I absolutely loved the vibe! đŸ„‚ The place feels authentic and cozy — perfect for a date, catching up with friends, or even unwinding with colleagues after work.

We started with some delicious cocktails and ended up ordering food, which was equally amazing. It’s so rare to find perfect tartar đŸ‘ŒđŸ»yuuum .

The music was cool and added to the overall atmosphere. The only downside was that they closed a bit early — I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Definitely a spot I’d recommend and return to. 🌟

Definitely a celebration spot. We went for a birthday, 2 ppl had some apps, sides and about $100 worth or entree meat. One round of cocktails, and an extra glass of cab. Four bills total.

Gratuity is included but it's not stated when the bill is dropped off. Highlights of our order the bond in dry aged NY strip, the wagu bolo ravs, and the au gratin potatoes.

Overrated the wood grilled lobster, sauce way overpowers the lobster and not worth the price.

Service was top notch.

Pro tip: Bring your own bottle of wine.

Nice to have an upscale gem like Rare Society so close to our neighborhood. Normally, you would expect to travel to downtown Seattle to find a restaurant of this level. All of the wait staff were just outstanding and very attentive to all our needs. Even though we are not really steak lovers, this place also has a delicious salmon entree and many vegetarian sides and desserts that all make for a great meal. Also there is an extensive wine and liquor selection. Pricey, but highly recommend for special occasions.

Amazing dinner there. The steak platters are top notch. Not a huge fan of the seafood tower but I think that was on me, not their presentation which was amazing.

Everything was perfect! Maxwell was our server, and we could not have asked for anyone better. His knowledge of the menue, his interaction with us, his sense of humor, he was outstanding! The food was phenomenal đŸ€€ Everyone we had contact with was amazing...I do have one critique...for the level of service we received, the price point of the menu and the exceptional experience we had, I was very disappointed the manager never stopped by the table. We've been to many 4-5 star steakhouses, and have always been acknowledged by management.
Go see Maxwell, you won't be disappointed

I want to give a huge shout-out to Rare Society our very first experience here was absolutely exquisite! I chose this restaurant to celebrate my fiancé’s 48th birthday, and it couldn’t have been a better choice.

When we first walked in, I’ll admit the welcome was the only negative part of the evening. Two hosts were at the counter, but neither greeted us with a smile or even a hello. I had to initiate the conversation and let them know we had a 5:00 reservation. Luckily, everything after that more than made up for it.

The atmosphere is divine. From the stylish dĂ©cor, to the classic Rat Pack and Michael Jackson photos on the wall, down to the menu design and plating it’s all the little details that set the vibe.

Our server was phenomenal. I feel bad I can not remember his name, but he was excellent! He answered all our questions, explained dishes in detail, and managed to stay attentive even while juggling other tables. Empty plates and glasses were cleared quickly, little spills were handled right away, and we felt taken care of the entire evening.

Drinks & Starters:
Shirley Temple
Shots of Jameson & house-made Ginger Ale
Caesar Salad (an absolute must-try!) fresh greens, the perfect amount of dressing, crunchy croutons, two anchovies, and a mountain of cheese. Honestly, the best Caesar I’ve ever had. It easily fed the three of us as a starter.

Main Course:
My daughter had the King Salmon beautiful presentation, great portion size. She polished it off, though next time we’d ask for it cooked just a touch more.
My fiancĂ© and I shared The Associate (a selection of meats) with Miso-Glazed Carrots on the side. Every cut of meat was excellent, and it came with five sauces: bone marrow, BBQ, Santa Maria–style salsa, bĂ©arnaise, and steak sauce. My personal favorites were the bĂ©arnaise and steak sauce, while my fiancĂ© loved the bone marrow he described it as “like butter” on the meat. The salsa was a bit too peppery for me, and as someone from Santa Maria, CA I know my salsa!

Dessert:
My daughter ordered the Vanilla CrÚme Brûlée beautifully presented and devoured down to the very last bite.
My fiancé had the Tres Leches Cake with Ice Cream pure heaven.

Despite the less than warm greeting at the start, the rest of the night was unforgettable. From the service, to the food, to the overall vibe, Rare Society delivered a truly memorable experience. We will absolutely be back there’s so much more on the menu we’re excited to try!

Dined outside with a larger party. Service and wait staff were great. Unfortunately, most of our food was mediocre and steaks were not cooked to specifications. Some of the sides were great some not so great. The whipped potatoes tasted and looked like boxed instant potatoes. The Caeser salad had so much cheese on it, you couldn't see anything else when it came out. I'm sure some might like that..... The oysters, mushrooms and dessert were good. This place is quite expensive for what you get. Probably won't be back.

I have not been here in a long time. Millcreek has grown so much, and this area looks beautiful. Parking was not an issue on a Saturday, so that was a plus. We chose to sit outside. What started out as a peaceful evening after work in my head turned out to be almost an hour wait for our food. They served others who came in later, before us, and you know how frustrating that can look. We ordered the 22-oz steak, nothing too complicated, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. For drinks, we got iced tea that took 20 minutes to get, and a non-alcoholic drink called Fountain of Youth. The drink was so watered down and full of ice that you could hardly tell what it was supposed to be or taste like. We also ordered the bread and oysters on the half shell for an appetizer. The oysters were gross to say the least. They were huge and hard to take in due to the weird texture. I eat oysters on the half shell all the time, but these were just not of quality. We had a piece of the bread each and saved the rest for dinner, but it took so long to arrive that even the bread got cold, and the butter hardened. The almost $100 steak had so much fat that we took 3/4 of it home to the dogs. We asked for medium well, and it was still rare on the outer parts (red). I sent a couple of pieces back to cook more, and they came back almost exactly the way I sent them. Overall, it was so disappointing just waiting around for stuff. I wanted salt and hot sauce, but the guy came around what seemed every 30 minutes, and with the long wait for the food, I just skipped waving him down altogether. My husband's iced tea refill took 25 minutes, and then we had to wait again for another 5 to get the sweetener. For paying over $200, it just was not worth it. Thank goodness this was a gift card because I would not go back. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside, but the outside needs some decor to make it more inviting. Looked like they had not swept it for a while.

I ordered a medium rare tri-tip steak, and it came out rarer than rare - mostly dark red - yet blackened to a crisp on the outside somehow. I ate it anyways, which turned out to be a mistake, as I got bad food poisoning from it. Miserable night when I got home! The service was great though.

Overall the price is easily double or triple what it should be, based on the quality/quantity of the food. Not sure how they came up with these numbers, it's pretty crazy. Will not be returning or recommending.

Reasonable but expensive food was let down by poor service and a bad atmosphere that could so easily have been rectified. My wife and I had dinner for the first time tonight, taking advantage of their happy hour before spending $150 on a steak. We were shown to a bar seat that was already very busy, dark, and noisy. The problem is that the music is loud ( I asked if it could be turned down, and they said it would be and it never was). The vaulted wood panel ceiling traps the music and conversation of the other customers. It made it difficult to even hear the person across the other side of the small table. I asked if we could sit at lower tables (better for my wife’s injured knees) just off to the side not 10 feet away. The hostess “told” us, that happy hour was only available in the bar, and we could not sit there. (I don’t know why such a simple request was difficult, the food comes out of the same kitchen, so why can it not go 10 more feet to a different table). My wife and I would have then been able to enjoy a peaceful dinner with conversation rather than shouting over the music and conversation of the other customers. My wife ordered the Philly cheese steak and I the burger. It was exactly that, a burger, no fries, no side salad nothing! and while it was reasonable it was overpriced for a being just a burger on a plate tasteing like a Big Mac. Sadly it did not end there. My wife ordered a second glass of wine and the service was so slow that it arrived after we finished our food. $80 later, disappointing would not go back, glad we did not order the $150 steak!
