Went to the Starbucks inside Safeway. It was my grandson's 1st day of school and wanted to celebrate. The barista was such a pleasure! Wanted to make sure we had a good experience. Asked specific questions on info I forgot to add when putting in my order, rather than assuming, to make sure we got the right thing. He had his favorites, hot chocolate and cheese danish! There are 3 Starbucks within a block here. I'm so glad I chose the one I did. 5*experience!!
Two people who ordered their drinks inside the store after me received their drinks before I did. As the puzzled look came across my face, the barista looked at me and “yours is next”. How do they not make drinks in the same order as they were placed?

Most of the employees are Safeway employees, so I try to keep my order simpler and avoid the holiday drinks. They really struggle with the ratios on those.
So far, everyone that's been here has been extremely friendly! I haven't hit it at any of the busier times, so my orders have been taken and finished quickly each time.
