Great vibe, bartender Mel was friggin awesome. A very welcoming dive bar!
It is a coastal tavern/bar..not a city bar..the people there are like family and the bartender..Mel..was a fantastic woman with a world of knowledge about the area and things to do. Food was good!

Wonderful small town atmosphere! Drinks are DELICIOUS! Mel is fantastic. Food was good. Live music awesome. As an out of towner- I'd definitely recommend!!
They are only open limited hours they set (who knows what days and times they are) ate hear about years ago it was decent now.... who knows

Good drinks, fair prices, decent food, and a low key atmosphere, make this little beach community dive- bar a win! We stop in, everytime we are at the beach. I like their breakfasts best!
I ordered a pineapple pizza from here it was pretty good. Nothing to rave about but If I were back in Pacific beach I would most definitely make this a place to go. I also noticed that they had a bar inside as well.
Waited nearly an hour for our food and it wasn't busy. I've been a waitress and I know that waiting on the kitchen is tough, but the waitress didn't even acknowledge us during that whole time. Didn't apologize or say that he was backed up with takeout orders, nothing. Just let us sit there and ignored us talk to the customers she knows.The food was pretty good, but the non alcoholic drinks and the water were bad. They came out of the tap at the bar, it just wasn't good. Not a bad place, considering; maybe we just came on a bad day.
Don't judge a book by its cover !!Seagate Restaurant and lounge has great food !! We ordered a flat iron steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. That steak medium rare was as good as a fine as any upscale restaurant. On another day we ordered the Supreme pizza. It was excellent! This unassuming restaurant and lounge is a destination stop.
