We got chai lattes while we were staying at the state park. One iced, one hot. They were the best chais we have had in a very long time! We had to stop again on our way out to get them again because we knew we wouldn't have a chai this good for a long time. The staff were really nice and the Cafe is super cute - really appreciated the free wifi while I waited for my drinks. Highly recommend!

I have done a 2 week family vacation in Pacific Beach since 2014 every year in October and have always enjoyed the little coffee shop in Pacific Beach expect for this year 2024! The hours state they are open till 3pm except on Thursday they close at 1:30pm, I showed up at 1:32pm the blonde girl was very rude and said they were closed even thou the hours on the window stated they were open till 3pm and the door was unlocked so I left. The next day, I went in at 2pm and very nice black hair guy said they were open till 3pm and only closed early on Thurs, so I went in the next day at 2ish pm and the door was open so I walked in and the blonde girl was working again and stated they were closed at 1:30 even thou it was 2:15pm and the door was open and lights on and online webpage stated they were open till 3! Thus, I won't be returning when she working even thou I really enjoy having my coffee drinks at the beach and thankfully Seabrook has a very nice bakery-coffeehouse that I can go to from now on and I highly recommend!

We came into town on Sunday for lunch. Restaurants are few & far between around here. Wanted a hotdog but not opened. Unless we were too early or not open on sunday- we were disappointed.

Food and vibes are great but the blonde lady is so rude. She ruined the whole evening… Visit this place only when you don’t see this lady bartending…

Stopped for a couple of drinks. Cool place. They’re not kidding about the ‘shady people’ thing. Good ol’ boys watching Fox News. Disappointed that a business chooses to alienate the majority while pandering to small group of not so ‘fine people’.

Horrible service. The woman bartender was super rude. Not a place for visitors. The estimate for the food order is not trustable.

Upon arriving, I was informed that my food order would take 10-15 minutes. However, despite the bar being almost empty and my order being placed first, my request was skipped in favor of a local man who arrived after me. This not only caused a significant delay but also demonstrated a blatant disregard for fairness and customer service.

The situation was further exacerbated by the bartender's aggressive and rude demeanor. Her shouting and angry attitude were both uncalled for and distressing. As a result, I had to wait 40 minutes to receive my order, which was far longer than the initial estimate.

We got a breakfast bowl, a burrito and a couple coffees to go so we could eat it at the beach. All of it was SO good and everyone was very kind. We will be returning next time we are on the coast.

Overall, this bar/cafe is very nice! The food, coffee, and drinks were great. My only complaints are that there is often a wait in the morning at the cafe and the crowd at the bar during nighttime are fairly fun but rowdy. Despite that, we had a good experience!

Kid-friendliness: Naturally, the bar is closed to kids, but the Cafe is open for everyone.

This little pub has remarkably good food at reasonable prices. Half a block from a sunset cupola, there is a pleasant dining area with sports over the bar and wacky videos opposite. The sides of creamy potato salad or Mac and cheese were clearly house made and delicious. The ahi tuna melt was great.

I can count on one hand how many reviews I’ve ever posted in my 35 years. Today is my birthday. My husband and I were exhausted after a weekend on vacation nearby with our (5) kids and needed a caffeine boost. A Mexican mocha sounded great. I didn’t see it on the menu. I asked if they could make one. The (older) female server with short, dark, curly hair rolled her eyes and repeated my request and then mocked “isn’t a Mexican mocha just a mocha with cinnamon??” (insert undermining attitude here). I replied that I didn’t know (thinking because 1) I’m not a barista and 2) I’ve only have one a couple times in my life at other shops). My husband asked about their surf macchiato. She mocked him while describing what was in it. He decided on that. I was stressed out at this point and just decided to order what my husband did. I said “I’ll just have the same drink, but half sweet… oh!…and with coconut milk”. She replies with a smirk and side-eye “well, that’s NOT the same thing” and proceeded to write my order onto the side of my cup.

When I tell you I’ve never smashed the “no tip” button so fast in my entire life. I work in a customer service field and I can understand bad days.. but this was crazy! Totally rude and uncalled for! Yuck.

The worst food I’ve ever had. Went here for breakfast. Ordered a waffle for my child, my husband had the bfast croissant sandwich and I had a bfast burrito with egg, potatoes and bacon. The waffle tasted like it came out of the freezer and heated up in the microwave. It was 3”x 3” big. A sloppy heap of strawberry preserves were put on top making the waffle soggy. My kid hated this and he’s not hard to please when it comes to bfast food. My entire burrito was potatoes and a very small sliver of egg. I didn’t eat it bc it was so dry. By far the worst burrito I’ve ever had. My husband’s sandwich gave him a stomach ache. There was no croissant, and the quality was sub-par. His comment was that it was a microwaved sandwich. On top of that offensive showing of food, everything was packaged in plastic to-go containers even though we ate in. The coffee was so so. I wouldn’t go here if you have a choice. Skip it and skip the disappointment we experienced.
