Had the breakfast bowl with bacon and sausage, and the biscuits and gravy. All was very dry, too much sodium, and breakfast bowl used country potatoes instead of hashbrowns as advertised. Low quality meal. Very disappointing considering they are the only restaurant that has breakfast food nearby.
Also, the cafe portion is behind the pub, but maps will send you to the public which is closed until 4pm. Go around back to cafe enteance.

Not sure about the food because we were told by someone on phone that we had to call back at 4 to get a BLT because they only serve those at dinner at 4. On top of that the lady was rude and you could tell she did not want to take an order from the tone in her voice. I will not call back at 4...It's a little weird because it clearly shows on their menu that the BLT for lunch is $11 and the dinner BLT is $14.

Ordered a 3 piece of chicken and waffles. This was the result. No syrup. Waffles are soggy and we’re missing an extra piece of chicken. This food was just bad overall.
Great food and service. Beautiful ocean town of Pacific Beach Washington.

In an area overwhelmed by upscale resorts that want to capture clientele 24/7, the Surfhouse stands alone as the blue coĺlar oasis, a low key neighborhood bar and restaurant. Limited but high quality ales and lagers on tap. Generous portions of real food made from real things not poured from a can. Unpretentious but competent and friendly staff. Very clean. If you're going to be the only place open at nine pm for dinner, surprising your guests with excellence is a recipe for growth ans longevity.

The tacos were amazing! Larry was a hoot to talk to and he gave us a history of the area. Also, there were beautiful flower arrangements on all of the tables 🌻🌷🪷!!

Came to visit from Seattle for... definitely a rainy place for shady people! The bartender, David, was absolutely wonderful 👌🏻

Friendly service and nice, relaxed setting. Only 21 & over allowed on the pub side. Lunch & draft beers were good, reasonably priced. I loved the mac & cheese side!
