The Windjammer Restaurant & Lounge is located inside the Pacific Beach Resort & Conference Center, which is a Navy Lodge. But this restaurant is accessible for everyone, and you don't need a military identification card to get access. This is a small restaurant and bar, that offers visitors a small and simple menu. We decided to order a few takeout orders during our stay, and we really enjoyed their fish and chips.

Teresa made the experience magical. Her charm and grace soothed our weary soul. Cannot recommend high enough. They only give me five stars.

The staff were very patient of our large group with a few loud kids, and helped us get food quickly. The first plate came out in 5 minutes! And the chowder was excellent.

The Navy lodge has definitly slowed down over the years and you can see that when visiting. That being said the staff are always positive and personal and it still beats going to crowded Ocean Shores. The Windjammer is always a fun mix of people including locals, retired military and active duty. Come enjoy a slower side of life and relax and in the peacefulness of Pacific Beach.

Ate dinner here with our friends from Copalis. You order food from the bar and they bring it out to you. Our sandwiches were very good and our friend said the Clam Chowder was great! Very nice experience!

I had breakfast and the food took 40 minutes and was cold and tasted terrible.

Cool place with fair pricing.

It was fine, but lunch starts at noon instead of 11

Service was terrible. Food was horrible. My son got fish and chips and only got 2 small pieces of fish that were half dried out. Even the fries sucked. The people screaming karaoke topped it all off. Very disappointing.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Been going to Pacific Beach for several years, found my way to the bar after noon on a Saturday Sept 2024.

Turns out this place is part of a resort - there's the bar, a cafe where you can also order food, gift shop, hotel (with that 80s hotel smell), clean bathrooms.

Got the fish n' chips, $14.95. Other reviews called them 'amazing,' I'd rate them as average. Not bad, just average. Pint of Manny's relatively cheap at $5.50, full range of fried bar foods and burgers.

I also got the chowder, which tasted like it was homemade, pretty good! 4/5, becaause it was too salty.

Given the area is extremely lacking in terms of food, and this place does absolutely nothing to advertise itself (no signage), it's definitely worth a try if you don't feel like spending $20+ for a burger up in Seahurst. Also, no worry about getting a seat.

Tbh I haven’t been there since 1980 but after looking at the pictures of the beach and the food it makes want to go back there just to revisit some good memories that I have of my visit there so many years ago. Thank you for sharing your pictures.
