I was visiting from Oregon. The lady that attended me was very welcoming. Made me and my son feel like family lol! God bless that lady.

Love it, so yummy. 2 meats 2 sides is perfect amount for a bit bigger than average appetite. Carolean was exceptional and fun in taking me and my sister’s order. Will be coming back.

Newest J&L, and just as good as the original. Tried the ribs this time, they were delectable.

great bbq - the chicken and brisket are the best youll get in the area. the sausages, though, nothing special. the ribs sell out quick.
dining in is less than ideal because of the plastic spoons/forks/knives - they break under the lightest pressure. id eat here more often if they had silverware for dine in.

Ribs were overcooked and tasted like they were cooked the day before . Outside was tough.

Not at all excited about eating here again. Significant other had friend who worked there and at other locations. Friend used to bring take out over on occasion. Only excited first time after reading reviews honestly huge disappointment. Brisket and other meats not even cooked at location and all had exact same boring all can do at home flavor. Visited Snohomish location where meats are cooked once and had, I wish the pleasure of meeting owner. Full of himself is a under statement. Guy is a super well you know what bag. Narcissist without a doubt. Just observing by the way.

Not horrible bbq but not great. The ribs are very bland and very light smoke flavor, the smoked chicken breast was surprisingly moist but again, not much flavor. Brisket tender but very fatty. I wish they would use real Mac n cheese, the frozen reheated stuff is just not good. A light meal for 3 was about $75. For that kind of money you need to do a better job.

J&L saved the day! We are from out of town and after MANY disappointments trying to find a place to eat (and not eating all day - this was 4 pm - due to other ridiculous circumstances...) we found this gem. I was hungry and grumpy and so were the kids. They gave us the BEST service and the VERY BEST brisket and collard greens that I've had since leaving TX 23 years ago! It made the whole doomed trip worth it!!! Thank you, J&L!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Great bbq and sides. The cornbread and collard greens are highly recommended. The meat is perfect; tender and not overly seasoned so you can appreciate the flavor. Great service too. We’ll be eating here the next time we are back in town.
