Says open 7 days a week, went there and weren't open!! Needs to update their Facebook if they will be closed or change their 7 days a week sign.. Wasted a drive. Also their phone number doesn't work.
I would love to tell you about the food and service, however, of the three times I have tried to visit in the last 90 days, each time the cafe has been closed. I won't be trying again.
Food was great...when we got it. Apparently they ran out of food and so the wait staff was frantically turning away people and scurrying trying to get the 12 people in the restaurant fed. When we finally got our food after 20 min we were so stressed and ate as fast as possible to get out of there. However, the food was very good. Just not worth the stressful atmosphere.
If you got 30 minutes to wait for a basic breakfast of hash brown eggs and toast when there's only four other tables in the restaurant and everyone had already been served before you placed your order and this might be the place for you. Although I'm not sure how long breakfast would have actually taken because we left at the 30-minute mark and this is the second time this kind of thing has been happened will not be back.
Yummy ... ordered breakfast í— 3 different dishes , one to go and super kind and fast.
Love the decor. I got Grilled Cheese (sourdough) with the fries, the fries are a bit big and it takes a while to make, but overall very good. i have heard some workers here weren't getting payed at all or enough, but everything else is okay.
I never stepped foot inside the restaurant because I visited on a beautiful spring day with my mom. We were able to sit outside at one of 3 or 4 tables on the sidewalk, watching people and traffic go by. The owner/manager was our server and she is a lovely, friendly person, very accommodating of my gluten-free diet and my mom's many diet restrictions. She was so kind about it and offered many alternatives to the usual menu. We had a very pleasant experience and the food was good. I had a bacon cheeseburger on a lettuce "bun" with fries and my mom had a plain burger. It was plenty of food and cooked with care. I will definitely visit again when in the area.
This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. If you get a breakfast dish I'd strongly recommend getting home fries instead of hash browns. The home fries are a specialty here. This is not a fast food joint, so if you go here expect a 30-45 minute stay. It's a great place to relax and eat good food when you aren't in a hurry.
Sorry, one star and no text means I must have accidentally hit something. Changed to 5 starts. I think your place is great!
Great food. Great service. Reasonable price

Came while they offered buy one meal get one free during Monroe's Super Saturday discounts. Friendly service, yummy food!! Biscuits and gravy used meat, was everything I had wanted!
Very accommodating and friendly staff! They were great about seating our large party. The food here is great and the ambiance is very cute. I'd be happy to visit again!
Such a cozy and adorable establishment! Classic diner breakfasts for a reasonable price. The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. The wall murals are a fantastic touch, evoking small towns of old.
nice experience. a LOT of food for the money. I'm glad we split our order.
I have no idea why Main Street Cafe establishment doesn't have 5 stars. I found the food really good and they are accommodating towards the disabled. Seating me quickly at a table that accommodates wheelchairs. It's right on Main St in Monroe with plenty of parking. Would recommend to anyone who wants a good, easy, breakfast and/or lunch. Prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. Will come back again to Main Street Cafe.
