Service here has always been friendly and . I purchased all white meat chicken teriyaki and had a special request for the preparation of the chicken for this meal and this is the only place in Monroe that didn't have an issue with cutting up the meat for this dinner item. Everything I've tried so far has been great, meat freshly cooked and never gristled..definitely recommend this restaurant.
MY REVIEW IS NOT FAKE EITHER KELLY TANKSLY, BUT YOURS IS!

All of the food was very good, and portion size was a good value for the money. Unfortunately, the interior of the restaurant is dumpy and customer service is lacking with an adequate but unfriendly person working the front counter.

the reviews on here are FAKE! this was terrible food. we ordered orange chicken that had a brown sauce. the meat tasted microwaved it was chewy and most pieces i had to spit out. the rice is very dry. it almost taste like it was frozen prior or maybe it’s the microwavable rice? it comes with coleslaw not sale but only if you dine in otherwise you don’t get it 🤔 at $15 a plate it was worse then panda express. super disappointed!

This has been our go-to teriyaki spot since moving to monroe about 5 years ago. I just got home with our latest take-out order and it looks like they've drastically reduced the amount of teriyaki sauce they include in the takeout orders. The sauce container is way smaller. There's not even enough sauce to cover all the chicken. Maybe trying to push more sauce sales? It doesn't make any sense.

I like the chicken this style. It's more textured not pounded flat and too chewy. Good place! A tad higher priced though

We stopped in for a late lunch today. And was our first time there and will be the last. Food was just ok. The place was dirty. Like black nasty carpet. Then watched the lady working do something I couldn't believe happened. She cleared a table off from a couple that had left. She grabbed a wash cloth to wipe the table just as she got to that table she dropped it on that nasty floor. Picked it up and wiped the table. Then ran it across every table she passed on the way back to the kitchen. We will never go back

This place used to be amazing. It’s been going down hill as of lately.
Ordered myself lunch here today. And first off, there was no teriyaki sauce on my meal. It was essentially grilled chicken on rice. Not to mention their rice is not what it used to be. It used to be buttery, sweet, an amazing. Now it tastes like minute rice they prepared in a microwave. The cabbage came with hardly any sauce. The whole mean was just dry, bland, and absolutely horrible.
If you call to order a the old man doesn’t answer the phone. Save your money and go to the other side of town.

Unfortunate review, but Love this place, it's the best in town for Monroe. The spicy chicken so perfect. The regular teriyaki chicken for others definitely lacking in sauce applied when ordered compared to spicy chicken. Then they charge more for sauce, shoot they charge more for more salad than rice (I am not a big rice eater). The small drizzle for regular teriyaki should not cost more compared to spicy.
Hate to say but I make very similar at home with chicken thighs, but have been loving this place for years since have lived here since 98. I am pretty sure we should be one of top customers in 2020 and 2021 ? But with price increases for what costs them about $5 (in food) roughly I'm gonna have to take our $ and I will continue cooking at home.
I just wanted to give review of place since like it a lot, but when walk out before with $40 for 2 (she doesn't like spicy) it's ridiculous. Pic is the regular teriyaki chicken

To say the service is abysmal is high praise. There is a kiosk to order and after attempting an order with the counter person it's clear why they need the kiosk. Apparently you need to speak Spanish to receive decent service. We ate in, and someone was beating on something in the back extremely loud. The counter lady was loudly chastising her child in Spanish and arguing with someone else the entire time. When she brought our food out, we had no utensils and she gestured to the front and said silverware. It was clearly obvious that they are overpaying her as she doesn't need tips.
