Driving through downtown Monroe, I found this cute little fish & chips place.
I really wanted to like this place, I was disappointed on the fish & chips I ordered.
Fish was dry & hard, the french fries were soggy. Both are frozen.
Employees are very nice. They did give me a free cup of clam chowder.

Good fish and chips, good portions. Small establishment, not many tables so difficult of busy. Wait time was not long. Hearty fish pieces, great French fries (really good). Chowder was nice and hot, above average although you can tell not home made. Friendly staff, quaint little place, I do recommend .

The food was very good. The service was super friendly. I got the two piece fish basket. It came with fries and coleslaw.. I really wanted to try the clam chowder, but I’m glad I didn’t because the two piece fish basket filled me right up when I go back again which I will be doing. I plan on digging into some of that clam chowder.

Stopped by here after visiting Legacy farm for their pumpkin patch. So glad we did! We ordered the family special with Fish and chips , Cole slaw and Mac and cheese. We also got the kids chicken strips and an order of clam chowder. The fish and chips were one of the best we've had! My teen asked to come back if we're ever in the area again. Very friendly and catering service too.
