Honestly this is one of the best places I've had for Mexican food and an affordable price nowadays. The 5 tacos for $11 bucks is insane especially with how much meat is on top of them. Plus you get the pretty fantastic cream sauce for them. Even though this is a taqueria in a gas station which may sound strange it works somehow. The woman making the food for us is always kind and makes all the food super quick even if she's swamped with orders left and right. Definitely would recommend for anyone who loves good Mexican food.

One of the very best Taco places.. The flavors are so authentic and out of this world.One of my all time favorite places to eat Mexican food. If you have not tried this then you are missing something. When you have a 5 star reviewed place with 100+ reviews and it's in a Gas Station you need to do the math.. I will call it Monroe's GEM. Our daughter introduced us to her favorite gas station Mexican food on the way to Stevens Pass. While I haven't tried any of the other options on this route, I don't feel a need to. We had their 5 tacos for $11 special, plus a few other assorted tacos, and topped it off with their amazing Quesabirria (basically a small birria quesadilla dipped in birria broth and fried) - messy but spectacular. There is seating at the counter (delightful for watching the friendly staff work), or if weather permits, there are picnic tables outside with a view of the gas pumps. My 'atmosphere' rating is purely because of the filling station location - the dine-in counter inside is very pleasant. This gem is not well marked - it's in the Food Mart at the Mobil station on Rt 2, just a few blocks from the intersection with Rt 522.

I'm so happy I found this hole in the wall because I've been going to the Americanized Mexican restaurants in town, and now that I have this place I won't go anywhere else! The quesabirria tacos are amazing, get some consummate with it and squeeze some lime into that! Oh doggy!
The pastor here also is legit! And you get meat without chunks of pineapple which goes a long way for me.
I'm bringing my wife when she gets back in town cuz she's a pastor lover!
My favorite taco place in town! All their food is fantastic and is highly recommended. From breakfast burritos to lunch tacos and more. Whether you're a local or passing through over the mountain I highly recommend stopping to get some outstanding Mexican to go. Don't miss out!
