Ever since my husband discovered La Bamba it is the only place in Monroe we will go for Mexican food. The quality of the food is so far above everywhere else and it is actually affordable for how much food you get. You may not get chips and salsa but we dont even miss it with how amazing everything everything else is.

Super authentic Mexican food from Jalisco! They have all the good meats like lengua and cabeza, and just about everything on the menu is tasty. Friendly staff, tasty food, and really good home made hot sauces that actually pack some heat. I definitely recommend Taqueria La Bamba if you're looking for some great local mexican food!

Since La Bamba is about the only restaurant I go to regularly, and we end up there about once a week, I guess I must love it:) Nothing fancy, and very casual, but I enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and we really love the fish tacos - always fresh and well prepared!
