Went to recency in Monroe to visit an old friend that is very special to us.Told me about tijuana resteraunt and I tried the shrimp a la cream "very good" the waitress was super,she gave extra chips&salsa no questions and the kids felt right at home with crayons and coloring paper for the little one,overall great atmosphere good food go a long way in my book!

My tacos were okay, I’ll try chicken next time. I prefer green salsa with them so I unfortunately wasn't the biggest fan of the red salsa. Chips and salsa were delicious though!

The table-side guacamole was amazing! We don't know what the extra seasoning was, but it brings the guacamole to a whole different level of great food.

I have to say that I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I got the fajita burrito, and the ingredients didn’t taste fresh. The meat was very grisly, and the guacamole had a funny aftertaste to it. I also ordered the fresh squeezed margarita, but that’s definitely not what I received. It tasted like a margarita mix. Also not good. Unfortunately this one was a miss for me. I will not be returning.
Mama makes margaritas with a heavy hand! Bring a designated driver. Hehe.

Found this place by chance and glad we did! The two brisket barbacoa tacos are AMAZING! there's only two with an order but I would get them every time! The carne asada burrito is also very good. The owners are very friendly and polite and quick with service. Street parking is tight in the area.
