this place is a gem. tied with lewis and main for the best food in Monroe.
small nit - after going a few times, ive learned to avoid their dishes with sliced jalapeno. i might have gotten unlucky with getting the last slices in the jar, but the vinegar overpowered the rest of the dish.
anyway. their best dish is the Tres Marias, of course. get it with a nice pint of negro modelo, treat yourself.

Food was excellent. Margaritas were very watery and at $12.00, definitely not worth it. Service was okay. Very noisy place.

OK look. I was starving. Never eaten before in my life starving. And Tres Marias revived my soul. It was delicious and fast. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I’m definitely coming back.

Went with my siblings today, and we all loved everything! I had chicken flautas, which were excellent! I had a little moment of envy, looking at the crema on my brother's shrimp, but no regrets over the flavor! Ample servings. The chips and guacamole were some of the best I've had.l in a long time! We all cleaned our plates; everything was delicious!
とっても美味しい!! very delicious~ had the grande combo chile verde chimichanga and chili relleno. I love their chili relleno, I have had it before.
I also had the herbal orange rooibos tea~ which was excellent as well.
Their service is always so accommodating, friendly and amazing ??

You must eat here on your way to Wallace Park. Welcomed by a charming hospitable host immediately, and served delicious nachos with homemade salsa before you even order.
Vibe is solid. There is Mexican radio playing, and while we were there a Spanish cover of Right Here Waiting by Richard Marx played. Mexican soccer is playing on the TV above the bar. The decoration is cosy, and comfortable. The outside is so cute and distinctively recognisable.
Drinks: And the single margarita is huge. My partner like the lemonade which is sour the way that he likes it.
Food: We ordered the Plato Mexicano for $26.95, split between us 2 and were stuffed! It is one Chile relleno (a cheese, pepper thing), carne asada (beef short skirt) and camarones mojo de ajo (prawns with mushrooms, served with rice and beans with Pico de Gallo. SO GOOD! I LOVED the camarones mojo de ajo, which is prawns sauteed with garlic, butter and mushrooms. We had churros for dessert.
Yes, 100% recommend, and I wanna come back for more.
