This Salvadorean restaurant is amazing! From the warm atmosphere walking in to the delightfully friendly staff, this place delivers immediately. Good selection of food and drinks, including beer. The pork and cheese pupusa was delicious and thick. Curtido was phenomenal and the salsa flavorful (it's thinner than a Mexican style salsa but just as tasty). The crema de marisco Salvadoreña was hearty without being heavy. The seafood contents were diverse and delicious while the broth was savory and sweetened slightly by the crema. I ordered a small bowl as it was my first visit and I wanted to try more of the menu offerings. Finally, I tried the yuca frita and was glad for it. The yuca pieces were cooked perfectly and paired well with the fried pork, which was crispy yet tender. More delicious curtido was piled on top of the yuca and pork, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, I'm thrilled to have found this restaurant and will be back next time I'm in Moses Lake!

Had lunch on a Sunday. Very friendly and prompt service. Had a revuelta papusa (pork,beans,cheese) and zucchini cheese. Both were good and came with cabbage salad and sauce to put on top. Revuelta was flavourful with the pork and beans and the zucchini had lots of melted cheese. Also had the arrachera (fried steak and sausage plate with rice and tortilla) – seasoning on steak was very tasty. Horchata was good – sweet and vanilla-like.

This was just the best tasting food I've had in the longest time. Upon looking at the menu it looks as though your getting American food. But oh no! We had some phenomenal cabbage with our Pupusas. Omgosh so tasty!! I had the Yuca Frita wow.....thats was so tasty from the pork to the yuca. My wife had the cheese steak sandwich. She could not get enough of her sandwich. Please come by and try this place!!!

If you have not been to El Chele yet, get to it! Salvadorean food is FULL of flavor, not heat. Thy have the sauces if you want them, but the food is meant to be savored as is, and it is delightful. The atmosphere is colorful and the music is lively, but not loud.Going there is like a mini-vacation. I gave the "atmosphere" five stars because it is one of those little places that is bigger on the inside than the outside. The family is big-hearted, too!
