Food was alright the drink were good but sweet
If Michael’s bistro served fries, the game would be over: an unbeatable triple threat of good food, many beers, and lovely patio ambiance. No other Moses lake establishment could compete. But sadly, when I decide where to eat dinner, I am forced to weigh the Bistro’s many positive attributes against the crippling cost of potato chips on the side.
Don’t get me wrong, the chips are good as chips go. And I’m told they make them in house. But chips are not the same as fries. Chips are for bags. Chips are for airplanes and the misinformed. Chips are, at best, optional.
And if these chips are home-made, are they not fried? If they are fried, would it not be better to serve the real three dimensional food? It is like arriving at a symphony hall only to hear a recording of the orchestra played over tinny speakers. I digress.
Despite Michael’s Bistro’s many delights, this prominent and inexplicable tragedy leaves me with no option but to only dine there sometimes, not every time.
stopped in for a quick pit stop out of town and ended up having such a great time thanks to our server Ben! he was absolutely amazing! super attentive, genuinely kind, and hilarious. seriously, he had us laughing and smiling the entire time. it's rare to get that kind of energy and personality paired with great service. the food was so so delicious and fantastic too, but Ben made the whole experience memorable. give that man a raise 👏 we'll definitely be back next time we're in town!
First time here on a trip from Bellingham to Montana. I love the whole place. It is very warm, friendly, and great
What a super cool place. They have amazing food & drinks. Atmosphere is awesome, they had a live dj, and a cool gizmo that takes selfies and sends them to you.
Great food, chill environment
They are a great place for baked goods.
Whoa. I didn't stay long enough to order anything. The atmosphere was assaulting. There was loud 80s music hurling out of speakers as if it was a nightclub, oh... with a DJ. I couldn't hear so I couldn't converse with my SO. I was very confused at the protocol of how I was to execute a simple breakfast. The menu didn't appeal to me. So, from what I understand, this place is popular and people like it. It shows. The one staff member who greeted us was incredibly friendly and happy, I liked that. However, I'll not return here.
Love everything is great here but the cheesecake is my ultimate favorite!

I was picking up some food from this place and I saw them drop some food containers on the floor and then they picked them back up and put them back on the shelf where they were grabbing the new ones from. It was only about five or 10 containers they drop they should’ve thrown them away

Updated review…I originally rated this place 5 stars but just stopped by for breakfast with the hubby. We both didn’t like our breakfast. Such a bummer. We asked for over medium eggs and they were both super runny with the whites not cooked. The potatoes were definitely reheated like they were microwaved. My husband’s chicken and waffles tasted like prepackaged chicken and waffle reheated. Also very small portions for $16. The staff are nice and it’s adorable inside. Just the quality of the food has definitely decreased. Not worth $40+
Super friendly staff and very clean! The food was awesome! Hubby and I split a burger which was so tasty and we both got Mochas which were just so good! It was like homemade goodness! Great quality food and atmosphere! My husband also loved his butter rum chip scone! They have beer, wine and all kinds of cheeses, quiche, baked goods and pastas and salads! We want to come back and try everything! This will be our stop when traveling through! Thanks staff you guys rock!
