Rock Top Burgers & Brew

We were visiting from out of town for a hunting trip, and we wanted to have burgers. This place really exceeds expectations! We are very glad that we chose this restaurant. The cheese curds are the best I have ever had, the sauces are homemade, and the burgers are perfectly cooked.

Come in once or twice a week while I’ve been working out of town. 3 times recently I’ve asked to sit next to a tv at a booth and I’m told I could sit at the bar instead. Bar is crowded and I would rather sit at a booth like I asked. Again I’m told I could sit at a bar. I have left each time because I do not want to sit next to another person and I have a bad back that’s why I want to sit and watch football

Both the atmosphere and the food are very good, they have their bar area if you like to just drink, good place in general

The service at this restaurant is absolutely atrocious. My husband and I wanted to try it for the first time on a whim, and we’ve been so extremely disappointed. He ordered us both a chicken sandwich with fries each, and asked for sides of ranch. He picks up his order and is told that there’s the two sandwiches in each box and then the fries in another, come to find out there’s one sandwich with fries and two just sides of fries. We call to have them know we were coming back for it, mind you we spent $45 on this food including the sides of ranch, and are told to come back. He goes inside to figure out what’s going on and to get a new sandwich and is told he has to pay another $25 for the sandwich because the ticket didn’t say there was another one, even though he explicitly asked twice. He was met with extremely rude “customer service” by a host and the manager. After standing there for 10 minutes, they still hadn’t even put the order in for it and we waited a total of 35-40 minutes for a single chicken sandwich. Also come to find out, my husband put the order in at 6:15, the ticket on pickup around 7 said it was ready a few minutes later but we didn’t get a text or a call until close to 7, so all of the food was cold.
Absolutely disgusted and disappointed in this place. $80 for two chicken sandwiches is absurd. Not to mention the complete disrespect from the manager towards him when he was just trying to get his correct order.

First time I came here the food and service was great, would have been five stars. The last 2 visits were very bad. Non-caring and unhappy staff, and the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had.

The last two times I came here the service was (and I can’t stress this enough) the WORST service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It was a shocking 180° turnaround from the first time I came. I was very polite and kind to the staff and I was treated like a major annoyance and inconvenience. The front staff was obviously and visibly unhappy and annoyed the entire time. I witnessed them purposefully ignoring people waiving them down to try to get drinks and food. They never refilled my drink after multiple requests and I was there for quite some time. I even witnessed another table complain that they never brought the table water after multiple requests. How do you run any restaurant and not even get the basics like water or your drink with your meal after requesting it several times over 30 minutes? And ignore multiple customers for over an hour.

In all honesty I think the kitchen is aweosme and the food is amazing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first bad time, but twice in a row is crazy. If the owner or manager is reading this I would say, The food is really good keep it up, but the front staff were downright disrespectful and did not care.

Waitresses never attended our table after food was served, zero drink refills and zero offers to refill our fries in the entire hour that we were eating. Walked past us multiple times and ignored us. Otherwise, food was really good! The tacos are amazing and everything was cooked well.

Friendly staff, but had to wave them over. Ordered the soup and salad platter. Small cup of soup and small salad. Not worth 16$. Clam chowder was mediocre. I don't mind spending the money if it's quality food.
Haven't been here for a few years. The food was much better then.
Won't be back.
