Atmosphere was fine, definitely enjoyed hanging around and having some drinks. A bit more restaurant style than I like, but hey that's fine. Near to the light rail, so it was fun to come up and walk to on a day out.

Service left a lot to be desired. Not the servers fault, they were understaffed by quite a bit. Only 2 waitresses serving the entire bar area. Drinks, food, checks, the whole thing. Hopefully it was one time because of the holidays and...

Tacos are decent. Pork is good, fish is okay. Stout is pleasant to drink, low on bitterness, is malty, dark and smooth. Brown ale is okay, bitter and dark. Staff is friendly and easy to talk to, atmosphere is good too.

The homemade rootbeer is a family favorite every time we go to the Knot.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with a kid menu and coloring pages for the kiddo's.
