Been going here for many, many years even though they moved 10 miles away. Some of the finest bbq in the area as far as I'm concerned. Great variety of sauces to choose from.

Getting take out from Gabriel's Fire is a cruel punishment for the driver...😊
You need all the will power you can muster to not just pull over and start digging in.
And, yes, the taste is just as good as the smell of the food. It's incredible.
Go for it, you deserve it.

Moved to Mountlake terrace recently and wanted to give this place a try. My wife is from the south and always complains about there not being enough BBQ in WA. This place is top tier for BBQ, really reasonable prices too!

My southern wife is still deeply embittered by the dry brisket she got from here, especially given the price, so I must unfortunately post this review

Went in for lunch & had the brisket sandwich with KC BBQ sauce and the Mac & Cheese. Brisket was good, sliced thin, tender & moist. KC sauce was sweet & tangy. They have several other sauces to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised by the Mac & Cheese, it appeared overly creamy but the cheese had a very nice tang to it, not bland at all.

Pretty nice little restaurant. The waiter was nice and friendly enough. He didn't check on me too much while I was eating. But to be fair I ate fast and didn't give him that much time to check on me. It was an all right meal overall.

I ordered:

Brisket: It was thin and a small serving. Which is common of these kinds of places. But it was a bit bland and dry. I ate all of it because it was still smoked meat and that was good by itself. But it wasn't amazing.

Mac and cheese: it was again, fine. It tasted like Mac and cheese. Nothing special about it. But I ate all of it because it was noodles and cheese. That's good by itself again.

Potato salad: PERSONALLY I didn't like the potato salad. It was kinda dry and I disliked the flavors in it. I think there was celery and maybe some dill? I couldn't really tell. I wasn't a fan. But other people might like it

Sweet BBQ sauce: I'm sorry I can't remember the name. The waiter recommended it to me. I really liked this sauce. I think that where this place might shine is in its sauces. But I only got the one taste so who knows.

Additionally, there was no cornbread on the menu and that made me sad.

The price of the meal came out to 20.17. kinda spendy, but to be expected of BBQ. I just wish it had been overall better. But it was still a fine meal.

Parking: Parking lot is a bit small. If there are more than four people at the restaurant at a time then parking will be difficult.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs so you can wheel right in if you want to. Pretty good wheelchair accessibility actually.

Gabriel’s fire? More like Gabriel’s Garbage. I’m not the one to usually trash a place when the food is subpar but I had to let my frustration out on this place! Came here with a group of three, as soon as we entered we were met with immediate attitude, as being first timers I asked what are some favorites or recommendations just asking general questions and was giving one worded responses like he it was an annoyance to answer questions. The food was not great aswell I got the chicken plate with a side of Mac and potato salad and the Mac n cheese was not it, had a grainy texture and made it really hard to enjoy and the potato salad should be renamed celery mush because I tastes more celery then potato. The glass that held out drinks were dated and you can tell by the stains seriously it’s 2024 but new cups. My main entree of chicken was dry and the side was the only thing was carrying the bbq highly would not recommend.

Mid food, aweful service. Trully, expectaularly aweful. If Mr. Congeniality dislikes his job so much and the patrons that supports the restaurant, he should pursue his dreams where he does not need to interact with people. Really unconformable experience.

Menu doesn’t have beer prices, which the bar manipulates to charge you a lot, making you think it’d be reasonable based on food prices. Sneaky and unethical. I ordered an ~$18 brisket combo and one beer on tap and the bill (before tips) was just over $30. Food was pretty good at least, but not worth these prices.

Food was old and microwaved, but still served cold. Way overpriced. Mediocre in flavor. Service was horrible. Don't waste your money
