Port of Subs is my go-to for a fresh veggie sandwich. The bread is always fresh, and the veggies are crisp and flavorful. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff only add to the satisfaction, making it my top choice for a wholesome meal that leaves me feeling good inside and out!

I haven’t been to a Port of Subs for about 20 years…yes, I am that old!!! This was during my community college days, and this cute and sweet little family owned one right next to the college I was attending. So, eating there on the regular was a must! So, naturally, when I found it again…I had to check it out!!From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted. The lobby and bathroom were very clean, which was impressive…especially during lunchtime! The staff were friendly and genuinely asked about my days! This was refreshing, especially in an era where most people can’t bother to ask the question…at least not without feigning to care, lol!The staff were also quick and efficient with creating their spectacular creations! The creations themselves were delicious! There is just something to that warm, soft bread that always hits the spot!! Yummy!!All and all, this Port of Subs hit the spot, and I can’t wait to go back and try another one!!Vegetarian options: You can customize a vegetarian sub if you prefer!Parking: There is a feee parking lot outside of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: The subs are customizable, so your kiddo can get anything they want (within reason, lol)!

Our family ordered 2 of the steak footlongs. THIS IS AMAZING!It's all about the details, people!Fully toasted sourdough breadFresh quality sliced beef with generous portions, melted cheese on top of meat. Evenly layered!!Red onion, pickle, tomato, peppers, etc = The best!We try to order this specific sandwich at other "Sub" places, and it's just a joke and major disappointment. This is my new "go to easy meal" source.

I've been going to this Port of subs regularly for the past 14 years. NEVER ONCE have I had a bad experience. Food is always fresh, bathroom and lobbies clean and the friendliest staff. The owner, Harry and his family are class acts. I can't recommend this place enough.

Very fresh, but flavor wasn't my fav (I got a #1). Likely preference. Given how fresh it was I'd try again for sure.

Bought a huge roast beef sub, way too little meat. It was basically just a bunch of bread.

Dirty. This location is disgusting. We went in here today for lunch hoping to get a sub sandwich (since Subway is terrible), but found myself unable to order. I have never eaten at a Port of Subs before, so when I walked in with the missus, we stood away from the order area to look at the options to make a decision. Another review said this too, but I couldn't even decide on what to eat with the staff asking literally every 5-7 seconds: "What do you want" or "do you know now" or "are you ready"... No, I'll be ready when I walk up to the counter and start ordering...Kinda glad the staff kept taking my eyes off the menu, because it drew my attention to all the other problems. The makeline had a layer of film that suggests they don't know how to clean, I don't think the lobby has been swept for a while (or they don't know how to use a broom), and there was not a single clean surface in my line of sight. After about 3 minutes in the store, my wife said she was annoyed by the workers and didn't want it anymore, so we left without ordering. We were deterred by the staff and overall cleanliness of the store, therefore I will not be returning.

I don't have time to write a long review but I have eaten at this location twice and both times been very happy with the sandwiches. I feel they are very generous with the ingredients which are high-quality and delicious. Definitely one of the best sub sandwich choices out there. I will definitely be back again. The staff is very helpful and pleasant and the establishment itself seems very clean and well-kept.

I was looking to find a new sandwich shop and this place isn't it. Walking in I could see a layer of dirt everywhere, I could even see a haze of dirt in the air. Since it was my first time being here my fiancé and I went in at a slow time and we were looking at the menu and the workers kept giving me and my fiancé a dirty look and without a beat every 20 seconds they would ask in a very annoyed tone "are you ready?". I take other peoples time serious and I wasn't trying to waste time I just was browsing the menu as a new customer. Very impatient workers. They were so impatient that me and my fiancé left without ordering because it wasn't enjoyable having two workers keep asking if we're ready when we we're obviously discussing the menu. The dirty lobby was also a deterrent. Won't ever be going back :/

Sandwiches are pretty good, but service can be quite poor. Probably a tier below subway, and two below Jimmy John's and Jersey Mike's.They can't handle a lunch time rush. Staff doesn't seem happy to be there.

I will start by saying the ladies I have met making sandwiches have all been great. They work really hard to make as awesome sandwiches that they are allowed to make. That's what it seems to me like. When I first started coming here and to their other location near Marysville, things were great earlier this year. The bread was soft, they had all of their ingredients, they put the right amount of toppings on.Now, it seems like the male owners are probably constricting the place by penny pinching. For a while, they didn't use plastic bags over the bread. So it dried out and got hard. After 3 of those sandwiches, I complained and was yelled at by one of the males that I had never seen before. He clearly doesn't take any form of feedback with any form of grace. I stopped eating there for a while, I came back to see if things had changed, which they did. For a short bit of time, I was able to have a sandwich or two with soft bread. Now, I'm vegetarian. My wife and I get smokey cheddar, pepper jack, and provolone on our cheese sandwiches. That is the only thing we get. For OVER 3 months they have stopped stocking smokey cheddar. The ladies that work they shrug and say they don't know why they are getting smokey cheddar. So, being that it has been so long I decided to call many different cities of port of subs to see if there was a country wide shortage of some kind. Alas, THERE ISN'T. Everywhere else except the locations I live next to have smokey cheddar.Ill bet it's more penny pinching. Smokey cheddar has to be slightly more expensive than the others.A note to the managers: You are missing thousands of dollars from my wallet. At least $600 per month that you dont have soft bread, smokey cheddar, and a decently made sandwich like you are supposed to do by the chain. At my count, you're around $2,400 - $3,500 short over the last 4 or so months of my personally earned money. Are you saving money? Or are you losing good business?Ask yourself. Is it worth it?
