Please update your website with correct hours of operations. Had to come back to pick up my jacket that I left night before and came at 10 am which the website says you are open at that time. All closed up. Tried knocking on door to get employee attention inside to grab my coat. Completely ignored. When another person came I asked if they could grab my jacket and informed them I would have come when open but website said open at 10. Employee responded with “you know I’m not management.” Totally understand but if the message could kindly be passed on to management that would be great especially when people driving 45+ min one way. No response. Professionalism and kindness cannot be something that is devoid in business practices. Would love to say I’m coming back to patron here again but I’m just not sure. Accountability matters.

You can tell they are trying to make some changes with the service which was very slow, even when it isn't busy, one of the reasons we haven't been for awhile. The food is very meh and the place is sooooo dirty and smells terrible, not somewhere I want to spend my time and money given how many options there are in the area. They have good beer, but that's not enough to make up for the rest.

Food was bland no seasoning at all and it took forever to get it! It smelled awful inside just a bad experience over all

Poor service, sticky tables, unclean, walked out due to no service and had a Diamond Knot beer and great appetisers in the Ivars lounge.

We come here quite often and the last couple times I’ve ordered fish & chips it’s burnt and rubbery. The food has over all been a miss lately. Service has been decent though! Just posting for the owner in case he wants to touch base with the cooks. 😅

Server was very very rude. Female...blonde. tried to blame her mistake on me. She wanted me to specify something at the time of my order...but the menu specified it that way and I just wañted it served the way it said on the menu. She said that's not the way they do it ( we have been here several times and never had to "specify")
I asked for clarity because it seemed off...she chastised me in front of my family and other and other customers. She said she would get her manager...I said no thank you...I just wanted to understand. She kept pressing about the manager. It was very uncomfortable. Though her service was fast...she was very rude.

I came here with a friend to watch a basketball game on a slow Tuesday night. The bartender asks us to sit at the bar instead of a table, and we do. We sit and I ask her if she can please change the channel on one of the TVs to the basketball game. She says, and I quote: “No, I can’t, I don’t have time to change the channel”. The finality of the reply is unusual, so I ask “You don’t have time to change the channel?” and she says “No”. The only 2 other guys sitting at the bar are snickering at this point. I tell my friend that in that case we should go somewhere else, and we do.

I’m leaving this review because this situation was unusual, confusing, and not at all service-friendly. If you are busy and can’t get to the tv for a while we understand, if you need to do other things first you can explain that and we’ll be patient. But to just flat out say you can’t push a button on a remote at any point in the remainder of the night because you are “too busy” without further explanation is absurd and pretty bad customer service. We went to another bar and were trying to figure out why she would say that. I’m Latino and my friend is African-American, we don’t know if that made a difference but the situation was so unusual that all possibilities were on the table. Maybe they just hate basketball? Maybe they don’t like newcomers? Who knows, but we will not be going back there to find out.

An excellent stop for a pint or a meal. Food runs a bit on the filling side, an empty stomach is recommended and I'd advise that those with peanut allergies avoid the bar as free peanuts and the shells might agitate the more sensitive.

The selection of beer is excellent and rotates on season. Liquor and mixed drinks are also available.

The nearby beach and lighthouse are picturesque. A good opportunity for a post meal meander and in calm weather is an opportunity to sit and enjoy the ocean with a pleasant buzz.

Been here twice in the last couple weeks at the ice cream window. No one there. Kept on ringing the bell. Still, no one. Waited 5 minutes today, nothing. Looked inside and people are sitting there waiting for service too.

We sit down and we order two beers and then after the waitress serves the two beers she tell us that they are out of fish and chips. It was 1 o’clock on a Sunday in off-season. How could they be out of fish and chips on such a slow day? Why did she wait until we ordered before telling us? My wife went to go use the women’s restroom. There was no toilet paper and she told our waitress snd she said she didn’t have any time. My wife said that she really had to go so the woman went into the men’s room grab some toilet paper and hand it to her. this place sucks.

I went here with some friends (group of 5) and was easily sat in the bar area. The mugs they serve drinks in are fun, and the onion burger I got was delicious. Peanut shell everywhere but that was part of the charm. Only negative was my tots could've had more seasoning but they were still crispy and delicious. Will be back again.

I highly recommend the pizza. I was going to stick to something else but at the last minute decided to switch to the pizza instead and I’m glad I did. THANK YOU!!

Great beer, food, and atmosphere

Waitress came out just pissed and annoyed. Food was sub par. Doesn’t take too much to try to make an interaction bearable. Gone are the days of customer service existing. Sorry we stopped by.
