Awesome experience ?, Dining was excellent, great flavors and delicious foods. Value was also off the charts for a 4 course gourmet dinner!! Definitely recommended and can't wait to try other dishes.

It is amazing to see the owner all by himself wait the tables, prepare your food and serve it!

What a great time! I expected a very rude, uncomfortable experience based on the reviews, and it was not that at all. Chef was very kind and polite the entire time - directive, to be sure, but very sincere and never rude. The food was honestly worth two or three times what we paid. The photos do it no justice, they can't begin to capture how tasty everything was. Highly recommend before it's sold!!

Requiring a vaccine pass to dine is medically invasive and doesn’t prove anything if you can still transmit Covid after vaccination. If anything, it just makes the vaccinated afraid of the unvaccinated. Business decisions to mandate a vaccine pass to dine are absolutely worth a review for other diners sake.

Chef may be grouchy but he is also kind. Enjoyed our dinner very much. We were the last table sat so we got to stay and chat with Chef for a bit before we headed home. Wonderful dining experience.

THE BEST FOOD! Reasonable prices for a unique multi course French dining experience. Be SURE to read the instructions PRIOR to reserving.Parking: Industrial Park Type Area, yet a hidden treasure.

It is always a fun place to go. The food is excellent. The location is a bit different. Great experience to share with close friends. We'll work going.

Sorry this is long...We had to try this place! I don't even know how to start to describe this place. It's located in an industrial area and you can barely see the sign at night. I made reservations by leaving a message. The chef called back 3 times before I was able to talk to him. When I made the reservations he told me about some of his rules - vaccination card, photo ID, no jeans, dress nice, cash only and no tipping. And be on time. I debated to go or not because of all the rules. It's truly a ONE MAN SHOW! He's the host, the chef, waiter, busser, and dishwasher. When you walk in he tells you to go to the bathroom and wash your hands then sit on the bench until he's ready. He then ask for your ID placed next to your vaccination card to make sure it's you. The rules are typed out and then the menu is in a binder with several different languages available. When he takes your order he then also collects the money (tells us the coins are cleaned and sanitized). This whole experience was comical. Food was pretty good overall. Definitely great value for the price! We just kept laughing because it was such an odd experience. There were hats and T-shirts on a shelf. They aren't for sale but if you donate to cancer research you can grab a T-shirt. But once you touch them you have to donate. There was a sign written about the donation but was very confusing on how to donate. We tried to ask him but he was so short and rude to us, we still didn't know how to pay. Then we thought he said to pay online so we did. When we were leaving he asked why didn't we put money in the jar for the donation (in another area). I showed him my receipt on my phone but he was confused, didn't want to listen to me explain and said that's fine we can leave. We were very irritated. But made the best of it and laughed it off. At 8:30pm he called and explained that he didn't know we paid online. That another couple there overheard and told him that's what we did. He called to tell us thank you and that no one has ever paid digitally. It was such an odd experience and I'm glad we went. He's very direct and see things black and white. You just have to try this place out yourself! I can't even explain everything about this place!

Diamond in the rough! One-man show Chef Masumoto is sure to please. I am an unfortunate picky eater, but both times I’ve been here I cleaned my plate at all four courses (at an amazingly affordable price). I think about the soups often. Sad this place is closing soon, visit while you can! Chef Masumoto can be intimidating at first, but incredibly kind and good-spirited once you start asking questions about his craft.

Worst experience I've ever had. Tables are covered in plastic like an old person's couch. Service is bossy, rude and pompous. Food was decent, just not worth the hassle that comes with dining there. This man has no business being in the service industry. I think he's selling. I hope someone that enjoys cooking can take over. Such a shame to see so much ego unchecked

This will always be one of my favorite restaurants; unbelievable dishes, a unique style of service, and an emphasis on table etiquette. Chef Masumoto is a legend ✨

The food was wonderful and so beautifully presented and reasonably priced. More than that I so applaud Mr. Matsumoto's unflinching commitment to raising our standards as Americans for how we present ourselves and create gracious space through simple courtesies in our world. Thank you Mr. Matsumoto!

quite an experience indeed, and we had to come see it for ourselves. The entree was for sure a great value, the steak was one of the best I've had and one of the lowest prices I've paid. The grouchy chef definitely lives up to his reputation though, we researched the rules and still got lectured for small things like putting the water glass at the wrong place. Chef says he's selling the place though, might not be around for long.
