One of our new favorite restaurants! The food was absolutely delicious and the service from Fil was phenomenal! Will definitely spread the word and certainly be back soon!

The experience was nothing short of amazing! The food was delicious and the wait staff so kind. My friends were quite sad when we ordered a cinnamon roll for the table & it was the last one...they wanted one to go 😕. We'll get there earlier next time.

View is amazing and so convenient for Whidbey residents to walk on the ferry and enjoy an “off island” meal. Service was excellent ...friendly, attentive, and she even brought a colossal cinnamon roll for the table for us to try since it was our first visit. We look forward to going again to try more of the menu.

My wife had a super Birthday here ! Phil was superb 👏 The steak here was delicious and prepared exactly as requested. Underpriced. We will return many more times.

A nice birthday lunch for a friend. Great service and food. Always nice looking out over the water.

The view is wonderful - it was a beautiful day and we were able to see all of Mukilteo waterfront, mountains, islands and the Salish Sea. The food was good - we had burgers and they were tasty and decently priced. Desert was very good. Our server was very nice however we waited a long time after we were seated - took a while to get our bread - might have been a kitchen/bar issue? After that food came promptly. All good and yes I would go back again.

Excellent service, Phil was fabulous and the food was delicious. I had the Miso Cod special melted in my mouth, fantastic. Will definitely go back!!'

I celebrated my retirement dinner with my family and overall had an enjoyable time. We were there longer than expected (almost 3 hours) and some of the food was slightly overcooked. The regular chef was not working due to an injury and the bartender was our waiter. The steak was cooked longer than requested. It wasn't medium-rare. The Ahi Tuna was flavorful, but cooked a little longer than expected too.

Our waiter was exemplary, recommending wine with the meal and attentive without hovering. It was a quiet lunch day, but the food and experience were amazing!

Great water front location with views of the sound. First time at H&C restaurant in Mukilteo formerly Arnies. Phil the server was fantastic! We went before it got busy and loud to make it more enjoyable. Food prepared perfect with some changes asked by us due to diet. They did it. Enjoyed the simple and not complex menu. One suggestion from the remodel of a older building, eliminate the old odor in the dining and add some warm colors to the offwhite walls. Good experience!

Had to sit outside as a a table of three was extremely loud. Calamari was good. Salmon was dry with a heavy glaze. Halibut tasted fine, but a small portion with bland potatoes. The brownie in the dessert was dry and hard. Pricey.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Hook & Cleaver did NOT disappoint!! Phil, our server was a delight! We had a window table with a perfect view of the setting sunset! The prime rib was exquisite, the seafood mac ‘n cheese was a luxurious indulgence and the brownie sundae was the perfect closer! Thank you Phil for your humor, superb service and for making our evening perfection! We will return!!

Great food and service. We had prime ribs, fish and chips, and seafood mac n cheese. The first time came here and was great. We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. We had a great time.

Had a very nice lunch with guests visiting from out of town. As always, the view is wonderful. Food was very good, and reasonably priced for this type of restaurant. Service was very courteous but a bit slow. It seems they were quite understaffed. Would definitely recommend, as long as you're not in a hurry.

Yesterday was our first visit. 10/10, will go again! Food was delicious. Staff were friendly. We wanted the lamb lollipop appetizer, but it came with cilantro gremolata (we don't eat cilantro); waiter Pete offered to substitute bourbon peppercorn sauce, which was perfect with the lamb! The bread pudding is made from their house cinnamon rolls. All in all, a good experience. We'll be back! 💜
