My first time in Washington and our son took us to see Everett. My daughter looked up food and this menu had a ton of choices for our large party. We walked in for lunch and were seated immediately by a lovely gentleman waiter who was attentive and fun. We had a party of 8 and everyone’s food was delicious! Perfectly cooked calamari and the fry’s are to die for! Beef tallow! In love!

I don’t like trying out new places because I rarely eat out and want to make sure that when I do, that it’s perfect. My husband and I thought that trying out their Happy Hour yesterday for my birthday would be a safe way to check them out.
I am so happy that we did! Everything was phenomenal. The calamari was unlike any I’ve ever had. It was huge pieces and perfectly breaded and seasoned. I did ask for a side of chili sauce since I felt like fried food needs some acidity and spice and not a creamy sauce. We ordered the ahi poke, and I’m so glad we did cuz normally I’m not a fan of poke, but I really loved the one they served at Hook & Cleaver. It was fresh and I loved all the textures and flavors of the dish. We also got a cup of clam chowder which was awesome. Chunks of clam pieces in every spoonful. I think I enjoyed it better than the popular competition’s down the street. We also got the Wagyu burger and fries. The burger was nice, I think the burger toppings needed to be more “full” and crunchier but I still enjoyed it. The best part of the burger tho, were the fries. Those fries are out of this world delish. Especially with a side of their ranch and that chili sauce I asked for. We will definitely be back! I was dreaming of their fries all day today. I’m super grateful that they gave me a complimentary scoop of icecream for my birthday! Such a nice touch. Thanks for the perfect dining out experience

Wheelchair accessibility: The entryway is up a curb from the parking lot and there is a ramp. There is a table section that is all one level with the entryway. There are 2 other sections upstairs and downstairs. The bathrooms are on the entryway level.

Perfect place to grab a bite in between lunch and dinner hours, as it offers happy hour pricing in the lounge (with beautiful views luckily) between 3 and 6 pm. Most prices are simply just 2 dollars lower then the standard price, that's it. Nice atmosphere, good service. Plenty of free parking. Try the Aki Poki something, it's delicious. The fish and chips is of good quality, although it's only 2 rather small pieces. Big choice of wines

Great experience at Hook & Cleaver!
I recently visited Hook & Cleaver and was impressed with the quality of the food and service. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a quiet meal.
We started with the fresh seafood starters, which were simply delicious. The main course was a paella accompanied by excellent sides. The attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes and the combination of flavors was top notch.
The service was impeccable – the staff were attentive and helpful, especially Peter Michael (Pedro Miguel) who always had a smile. In addition, the wine list offers an excellent selection to accompany the dishes.
Definitely a place I recommend and will be back soon!
