MOD Pizza

They increased prices again this week. Pizza is up by 8.3%, garlic bread is up by 7.9%, dessert 8.1%, and drinks are up 9%. It's $40 for dinner now. I'm only one person. That's ridiculous how expensive casual dining has become. FYI, their CEO owns multiple houses. He can afford all those houses because he is ripping off customers.

I haven’t ordered from MOD Pizza before, so I thought I’d try a custom pizza with some favorite toppings. The extra crisp pizza was soggy (way too much pesto) and the arugula was baked under the cheese rather than fresh on top. Not impressed.

Who doesn’t love unlimited toppings? I usually go for the MOD-size pizza, but this time I decided to switch it up and try the MOD-size salad — and wow, it did not disappoint! I loaded it with lettuce, spicy sausage, mozzarella, salami, corn, jalapeños, hot peppers, pineapple, and finished it off with a drizzle of tomato vinaigrette. So fresh and flavorful! I’m already craving it again.

I honestly don’t know how this Mod Pizza location has a 4.6 rating. I’ve been to other Mod restaurants and never had the issues I’ve had here. This is my third visit, and once again, the pizza was undercooked. I spent almost $30 hoping for a quick dinner for my kids so I could skip cooking—but instead, I had to finish baking the pizza at home. It was that raw.
Even after putting it in the oven, it still didn’t taste right. My kids refused to eat it, and I couldn’t blame them. I forced myself to try a couple slices just so the money wouldn’t go completely to waste, but it was unappetizing, and I gave up.
This can’t just be a coincidence after three bad experiences. I won’t be coming back to this location. I like Mod Pizza overall, but I’ll stick to other locations from now on.

Pizza was delicious

Preferred place for pizza for my wife and son. Great customer service, environment. Tasty and healthy pizza at reasonable price. We visit this place in every 4-6 weeks.

You know, not bad. I had my first Mod Pizza at the Tacoma mall 8 years ago. What a greasy mess. Never had it again. Although, I do like Mod's version of the Ding Dong. Frozen of course. I decided to try my neighborhood Mod Pizza recently. It was good !!! Crisp crust. Great sauce. Not greasy. I recommend eating at the establishment, Pizza tastes better. The salad was fresh and tasty too. Yeah, not bad. Now just to convince the Mister.

I love MOD Pizza, but the problem is, they advertise as many toppings as you want, but getting them to put anything more than a dusting of anything is like pulling teeth. They begrudgingly do it if you ask like 3-4 times.

I did not take my receipt, but I was just at this location (5:55 on 1/1/25) and everyone working was fantastic. The people on the line had amazing sense of urgency and the person in the green shirt was doing a great job delegating tasks while helping delivery drivers and managing the cooking pizzas. As soon as the rush I was part of was over they were immediately restocking and cleaning the line in addition to helping out with small tasks when they noticed they needed to be done. They were encouraging each other and overall seemed like a great team. I don’t care how much they get paid, they deserve a raise.

Quick and decent pizza that can be customized as your order similar to a sandwich shop.

The toppings have gotten more sparse over the years as the company has fallen on hard times, but service has always been great.

My pizza (cauliflower crust) did not taste correct. Evan at the Mukilteo location was a true gem and fixed it with no issues. He went out of his way to make sure I had a pizza I enjoyed. I ended up with the gf crust and it was perfect.
