I’ve visited a few times now. It’s an adorable place with friendly service. Sadly, every time we get a breakfast sandwich, it lacks substance. Yesterday I changed my regular breakfast croissant to the ham and Swiss. I did this because my daughter-in-law ordered a ham and Swift a couple months ago that was just packed with ham and so delicious. My husband and I received our croissants and were sad to discover that not only was there hardly any ham or Swiss, but 1/2 of my croissant was only half covered. These are not large croissants to begin with. It was almost $20 for the two croissants. Sadly disappointed.
Yes, the food there is actually quite tasty. However, I find it quite expensive for the size of the portions.
There aren't many seats in the café and you basically don't have a table to yourself. You have to sit down at the table with other people.
I'm not a fan of that because it's hard to have a proper conversation with your partner and I don't want to make small talk with strangers.
If I had known beforehand, I don't think I would have gone here.
But I understand that there are exactly those people who like this concept, so I won't deduct any stars for it.

It's a nice small lunch place, but the sandwiches are a bit small, simple, and overpriced compared to similar lunch cafes
Located at a really beautiful spot. this place when seated outdoors has beautiful views but food here is very expensive and not worth it. coffee is decent and it much better to take a coffee and enjoy the view and go to near by places to grab food which is tastier and doesnt break the bank

I have been missing out on a super cute coffee shop. The inside decorations are super cute. The service was great even though I arrived only 15 minutes before they closed. They have indoor and lots of outdoor seating with a view. I ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich, and it can with a couple slices of orange, which was a pleasant surprise and nice touch. I also got a Lavender Latte. Highly recommended!

This place is SO CUTE. I loved the coffee and the breakfast sandwich. The pumpkin latte was amazing. And it came out fairly quickly while on a busy Saturday morning.
Next time I take the ferry, this is a must stop place.

Delightful place with a warm atmosphere/ the vibe of the old Seattle coffee houses of the eighties. I stayed for over two hours reading and drinking coffee in a very comfortable chair as groups of locals, couples with kids, and others rotated in and out around me. The folks in charge are very nice.

I love the Red Cup. When I was little my coffee obsessed dad would take us down there to get his weekly supply of Happy Hippy from the Mukilteo Coffee company, and we would grab a bite and enjoy the patio area. Now, more than 20 years later I still enjoy going down to watch the bees bumble in the gardens, and enjoy the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I'm glad it's still around, it's very nostalgic, and they always serve good food.

Great breakfast place. Parking was a bit of a pain, and there was quite a long wait to get seated. Food and service was very good.

Ordered coffee and a breakfast bagel to go. While the service was friendly, I was disappointed to find half of the bagel burnt. The smell of burnt bread hit me as soon as I opened the box. It’s frustrating that such a clearly overcooked item was served, especially when it could have easily been remade.
Seriously, the lack of quality control is astounding. If you’re comfortable serving a paying customer food that’s so obviously burnt, I’m concerned about what might be happening in the kitchen in terms of safety, sanitation, and overall quality control. It’s unbelievable. I was only able to eat half my bagel even though I paid for a full one. By the way, there are much tastier bagels elsewhere. Save your money and make your own or go someplace else. This is not okay.
