I know they are very busy, but terrible Service. I just wanted to do a takeout order. I waited 20 minutes while they continuously helped people who arrived after me. They finally helped a woman ahead of me do a takeout order. I waited another 15 minutes with no acknowledgement that I am alive, and then I left. Zero stars.

Meeting up with friends and trying a new restaurant is always something I look forward to. We were seated right away by the friendly staff. Great service continued throughout our stay. Lots of menu choices, with breakfast items available all day. The food portions were generous. The server advised me that the 1/2 size salad was good sized, and she was right. The restaurant was clean and had a nice nautical theme. Worth a visit.

Great food joint, packed neatly near the heart of Mukilteo. Plenty of space for parking but most importantly the service and food was outstanding. The gyro is one of the best I’ve had. It’s not greasy, there’s plenty of meat, all fresh ingredients and one of the best home made hot sauces. Definitely worth a bite. This place is a hidden gem

very yummy breakfast fare! clean, fast and very courteous staff. Portions are generous but not gut-busting, just right.

a friend of mine and ordered (for me) Crepes with Lingonberry sauce and BLT with fries. Both of us very extremely happy with our food choice. Most surprisingly the (low) cost. Generous portions for both, great and efficient service. Couldn't have been happier. Extensive menu choices.

Two friends, living 75 miles apart, we like to get together for a meal, usually breakfast. We were giving this cafe a try. First the good: By roadside cafe/diner standards, the food was excellent. My "over easy" eggs were correctly done and the pancakes were as good as any I remember. My friend's omelet was excellent. The service was friendly and generally excellent. The coffee was "good cafe coffee". But no more than warm, even when refilled or "warmed up". Since the refills are delivered from insulated pitchers, I did not wish to mention the problem more than once. It seemed out of the servers' hands and I felt it inappropriate to bother them--they were busy--with something they couldn't control. This really detracted from the total experience. Tepid coffee is a downer. Considering the care that seems lavished on the food, it is confusing that something as important as breakfast coffee is treated this way. Five stars for the food. Three stars at most for the visit. No return by us.

First time ever visit, stopped in for breakfast on our way from the ferry to SEA. Wife had "half" biscuit and gravy, I had the Soprano omelette. Large portions, food was great, service from Melissa great.

We dropped by this cafe hoping to pick up some milkshakes after spending time at High Trek Adventures. I placed an order for 4 milkshakes and a couple of slices of pie and a coffee cake to go but when I went to pick them up, they said the milkshake machine was broken. I still got 2 slices of pie, apple and blackberry, and the coffee cake. The pie looked so good in the case but unfortunately, the apple didn't seem cooked enough. I like my apple in pie soft, these were still hard. The blackberry pie was really good though. The crust is not the flaky kind but rather a hard crust with sugar on top. The coffee cake was a tad dry but still good.

Located on Mukilteo Speedway (SR-525) near West Perimeter Road, Mukilteo Speedway Café is a throwback to roadside coffee shops that you could once find in towns all over the United States. The spacious vinyl booths and the counter seating are reminiscent of 60’s- and 70’s-era diners and coffee shops. The one element that distinguishes it from more generic diners is its nautical-themed décor. It is (at least of this writing) only open for breakfast and lunch. When you eat at a modest enterprise like the Mukilteo Speedway Café it’s important to keep your expectations realistic. If you’re looking for high end design touches or contemporary, cutting edge cuisine, you won’t find it here. Rather, you should expect comfort food typical of any American casual family-style restaurant. Having driven up from Sea/Tac Airport following an early morning flight, I was craving a hot breakfast despite it being near the noon hour. I thoroughly enjoyed my order of kielbasa and eggs. The restaurant seems to be very popular with the locals, as I was surrounded by diners who were clearly regulars. It was also apparent that several of the servers have been working here for years, and the service they provided was friendly and efficient. The prices were fair and the portions were generous. If you’re in the mood for a straightforward, no-frills, nostalgia-inducing meal, then a visit to the Mukilteo Speedway Café would be worth your consideration.

We had breakfast there on Good Friday. There were 5 of us; all meals were delivered as ordered (the waitress did not write down the orders). I changed my mind at the last minute, but should have ordered the cheese blintzes as one of our friends had - looked very delicious. Excellent service!

Thankyou25

The staff was excellent made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious. In fact went back the next weekend.

Have been to other restaurants under same owner, decided to give this one a try. Good food but a little spendy for breakfast. Highly recommend. Had Kielbasa combo and Almond Crunch French Toaat with eggs and bacon. They put cheese on eggs-yummy. Ice Tea tasted old, wasn't fresh brewed. Cute designed restaurant- ferry boat decor. Parking was easy.

Best breakfast In town. The service is fantastic. The pumpkin pancakes are a must. servers always have a great attitude and greet you with a smile. Weekend mornings there is usually a wait but the food and overall meal experience is always worth it. Eggs Benedict is the best I’ve ever had juevos rancheros is delicious as well

They seem to be cutting corners. Still as busy as ever, but the food seemed to have cheaped out. Sausage portion was the size of a silver dollar, paper thin, and burnt on one side. Eggs not cooked as ordered. Potato Pancakes--2 made with hashbrowns for 9.95. They had great flavor, but $10 bucks for two potato pancakes with no sides! Now for what they called syrup for pancakes which turned soggy the minute the syrup was poured over them. They carmelized some sugar until brown and added water. Runny like water and no taste of any syrup I have ever had, just the burnt sugar taste. YUK! If you are looking for quiet, this is definitely not the place. Conversation is out. We will not be back.
