Overall: Good!

The food was pretty tasty, and the ambience was nice. However, the service was a bit lacking unfortunately. We were sat immediately, and asked if we wanted waters, after saying yes we sat for 15 minutes, mind you the restaurant had one other table sat aside from us. After the 15, our order was taken and we didn't receive the waters until our other drinks were served. I also requested no onions in my dish, and received onions unfortunately.

I just found this place and it is immediately already one of my favorites as I just moved here. The customer service is awesome. The food is damn good and damn quick. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very nice, it's pretty quiet and there are a lot of indoor plants that they are taken care of and also have a pretty nice layout and big open space for when it is busy and cute decorations. There's a weird thing about Pad Thai, the ubiquitous Thai noodle dish. Too many local places make it with ketchup. Ugh! Making it with tamarind seasoning is the only way to get close to an authentic dish for this marvelous cuisine. And that's why you need to order from Hot Basil Thai Kitchen. I've tried several local Thai spots; this is the one that gets it right!
