The Little Tavern

First time visit and it started with a Oregon ATOZ Pinot Noir served in a dirty glass. Water that had too much chemical taste that was too bad to drink after first taste that was set in both my mouth and nose. Too late to leave, as I had ordered their best seller Huli Huli Pizza. Now I do enjoy a good pizza once in while but this was very hard to describe. Some slices had too much tomato sauce that was at the crust edge and very little at the center. Some slices had thick cheese that became a chewy blob in my mouth. Other slices had very evenly distributed ingredients and was very tasty. Some of the pulled pork was evident in big pieces others slices very thin with little flavor as either Huli or tomato sauce over powered the meat, pineapple and definitely what was most lost the cilantro. Crust stood little chance in the center but heal was too much. Cooking crust evenly so as to have hot black spots top and bottom. The servers were present but I did mention my dislikes.

Got a couple beers and took a burger to go. Burger was incredible even after sitting for 30 minutes in a to-go container (my fault.)

Austin served me and was really great, kitchen is open so you can see the cooks hard at work. Staff was friendly and more than capable at dealing with the influx of customers. Definitely my go-to for the area when I’m up here. Thank you! 10/10

Edit: Bar seats are super comfortable, bar height was great. The beer I was drinking blew out during a pour and they changed it within minutes. Super effecient staff, great service.

Perfect size of a restaurant with a beautiful full service bar and heated outdoor seating. Ive spent many hours here reading my book at the bar and wolfing down their 10/10 wood fire pizzas.

Also highly recommend the burgers and parmesan fries.

The staff is super friendly, always fast even when busy.

The pizza is delicious (expecially love the Huli Huli pizza) and the space intimate and warm. Also with a large outdoor seating area. Is my new favorite in Mukilteo.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this tavern. The cozy atmosphere set the perfect tone for our evening. We tried the pizza, burger, and wings, and everything was delightful. The whipped blue cheese dip was a pleasant surprise. Note that the pizza isn't too large but enough for one person. I'll definitely return and highly recommend it. The service was excellent, adding to the overall positive experience.

Love this neighborhood spot. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but once you’re inside it’s a great atmosphere, clean, nice interior and music.
