As mentioned in other reviews they don't have the quickest service or the best temperament, but the food was good and they tolerated my crazy kids... my wife that the clam chowder was well ill let that be in her review... the burger was good. Fries were a bit overcooked and they never offered or brought out ketchup. They didn't check on us much either which for the current mood of the night was actually appreciated, but in etiquette they should've check in a bit more. 4 stars because it was a decent night. And considering I probably didn't have the most friendly look on my face no one bothered me about it. I will be back. It's a good ol down home feel with the locals. Me being one of them even if I'm a "fair weather folk" i like to support local. This is a good establishment. Bringbyour family and kids. Fridays have mini Tacos and my kids got after them.

This is a place tucked away in the country that I have driven past often. I should have stopped sooner.

What a serendipitous stop. Driving through rain, wasn't going to make it to the Astoria bridge before dark and my mother was sick of being on the road. This place is true small town bliss. Had to go into the bar next door to inquire, and after running to serve a few customers she came back and I was able to hand over cash for the key. The room is surprisingly spacious and has good wifi. Well kept, nice little fridge and microwave with a dining table. Laying here gratefully cozy and about to get a great night's sleep. Hunters Inn is A+ in my books! ❤
