I had just come off the long haul through the tundra from Longview when I stopped in to have some food. The place was quiet, but it is coming out of the way place. Pretty sure it’s supported by locals. Which means people know each other and may have conflict one way or another that’s because they’re probably friends. I ordered a patty Meltwithout fries and a glass of water because it wasn’t time to drink 🤪and I got served a sandwich that I’m pretty sure should have been illegal, and you might not want to eat Public because the noises you make when you eat it! I thought I might take it home, but after the first bite, I knew it wasn’t gonna make it😂😂😂 Ate the whole thing made myself sick. It was the best sandwich I’ve ever had and if you can see past hometown dysfunction or functions is by far the best sandwich I have ever had.
Good food friendly staff
Good food & good price
What an awesome home-style Breakfast. Can you believe five huge pieces of perfect beacon? Oh ya and the home-style potatoes!!!! Open at 9, be there or be square!
Once we were served, didn't see server again until she brought bill. Hungry so happy to come across the cafe but disappointed in meal.
This is a place the locals hang out. Friendly, easy going and amazing fried chicken and Jo jos.
Excellent visit a few years ago! My family had a wonderful time at Hunters Inn. Very accomodating.
A great lunch and a salty dog! Pull tabs if you're into passing some time bellied up to the bar. Consistently good!
Such good food and amazing prices. Was very impressed
Two stars mostly for the rude waitress and attitude! Do not go through the wrong door you will get scolded like a child.
Got a huge eye roll from waitress because as soon as we sat down she’s asking us what to drink without even menus or water yet.
The food took 35 minutes to come out! Emphasis on we were the only table in here.
Order my son a jr burger plain and they put everything on it.
Not to mention who puts lettuce and tomato and thousand island on a mushroom Swiss burger. Mushroom burger said piled high with mushroom I probably got a 1/3 cup of mushrooms that tasted caned but fried.

It's rustic, well priced motel approximately $70...winter rate....large rooms.......nice towels, lots hot water.....cafe and quaint small quiet bar....nice old place...cafe food is GREAT and generous... down to earth people.....I love the place
I give the one star because the fried chicken is actually good and the only redeeming quality about this place. I don't know what is wrong with the bartender but I don't think a simple can I get you anything else after slamming my food down in front of me is to much to ask for
I love their fried chicken.
As mentioned in other reviews they don't have the quickest service or the best temperament, but the food was good and they tolerated my crazy kids... my wife that the clam chowder was well ill let that be in her review... the burger was good. Fries were a bit overcooked and they never offered or brought out ketchup. They didn't check on us much either which for the current mood of the night was actually appreciated, but in etiquette they should've check in a bit more. 4 stars because it was a decent night. And considering I probably didn't have the most friendly look on my face no one bothered me about it. I will be back. It's a good ol down home feel with the locals. Me being one of them even if I'm a "fair weather folk" i like to support local. This is a good establishment. Bringbyour family and kids. Fridays have mini Tacos and my kids got after them.
