I'm sorry excited to get this protein. The business adds garlic salt to the fish. You can try a sample before you buy smoked salmon. There is also an awesome garden out front not for public but easy to see.

Hands down best smoked salmon I found ever. I am a local native American and have gone to dozens of reservations and ate smoked salmon at every one of them and I promise you that this place is hands down number one. Almost every single day you will see a line forming full of locals and travelers all waiting to buy some of this delicious ambrosia. The man behind this masterpiece is a local Makah tribal member and resident. You will generally find him bouncing between checking the smoker and taking care of his bountiful garden surrounding the smokehouse. Many articles and blogs have praised the fish from here, making it a bit of a local focal point for any one coming thru. I willingly drive 4 hours each way to pick up some salmon from Kim's. I do it at least 4 times a year, that's how good it is. If you do decide to come through make sure to come early because it definitely sells out no matter how much fish is brought to the take-home fish company it'll be smoked and eaten before the sun sets every single day. I rarely give five stars but if any establishment ever deserves one it is the take-home fish company and the smoked salmon.

This place is as authentic as you’ll find, an homage to a tradition that goes back thousands of years. Get some salmon and take it on a picnic to one of the nearby beaches. We accidentally stumbled upon this place because mostly everything else was closed for 4th of July. Best decision ever. We had some of the best smoked salmon we’ve ever had. The owner’s cat Pish-Pish was the cherry on top!!!

You would miss this place just driving through Neah Bay but be sure to add this to your trip stops out to Cape Flattery! The gentleman who owns this business is charismatic & funny! His smoked salmon is done in house & the size of his pieces for sale is more than generous. Bought 3 filets for the family & they are already gone in two days!

I am not a fan of smoked salmon, but had to try it based on the reviews… wow! My boyfriend and I both don’t really like smoked salmon but we walked out with several packages after tasting it! Yum!!

Definitely do not miss out on one of the most authentic and delicious experiences you can have in the entire state of Washington. Every day you can get fresh caught salmon (the selection varies) smoked over a hardwood fire right in front of you. If you're lucky the owner will pull a tray off the smoker and let you sample. Savory and not at all salty. Proprietor is very friendly. Highly recommended! (Sneaks off to have another nibble.)
