UPDATED MARCH 2024Well, folks, this is still a wonderful place to procure your specialty meats and fresh or smoked salmon, plus all the other nifty proteins in the refrigerated case.This most recent visit we picked up some filet mignons, stupidly overcooked them a bit, but the meat was still wonderful and tender.Then we had to have some bacon. Went to this Newcastle location when visiting friends in the area, outstanding quality of meats available and great customer service as well! We picked up a half pound each of the candy smoked salmon, turkey jerky and beef jerky thick cut pepper and some bacon as well.
5/5. 10/5. 10000/5. This place is great. I've only been twice and but I know that I won't be buying meat from a regular grocery store again. They have a wide range of meats and seafood and are super knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. They're so nice and welcoming and I highly, highly recommend them. They also have niche flavors of hard ciders and beers, I seriously cannot sing their praises enough, this place is awesome ?
